Why would you change the workgroup name? It sees any other workgroup in your network before is sees WORKGROUP and you can access the other workgroups without any fuss.

Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73200_v7.4.x.r3966 This FW works fine for me (as did the previous version, this one looks slightly better though), I don't understand all this yelling that it isn't perfect. Nothing ever is, go build your own media player. So far it does everything it's supposed to do, for a very reasonable price. My opinion, feel free to think otherwise.

Re: [Official] Firmware_PV73200_v7.4.x.r3966 Updated to new firmware on my mini (1073DD C+ version, old firmware version 7.0.21.4312). Menu is as fast as it was before and pretty much instantaneous. Plays the movies and music I want it to play (all on Synology DS410 NAS).
Just one small niggle: I can only access the NAS through the File Manager. So basically I have to skip three dead menu items every time I start the mini: the Movies, Music and Photos menu items. Do these only work with an attached USB drive or can I make them work for my NAS as well?

so maybe its better that file browser will be the first item in main menu.

No restart when pressing Setup when you're watching a movie? No lagging when auto scan is on and trying to navigate with the remote? (Turn off auto scan and compare) Youtube login makes all your favorites visible (No SERVICE_UNABLE message)?
