If you connect it first to the usb and then turn on the Ac Ryan what happends then ?

Now that is very worrying. I flashed it again using the same file on the same USB stick in safe mode and now it appears to be working. Doesn't the flash contain an internal CRC that is checked by the Ryan after flashing to ensure integrity has been maintained? How do I know that re-flashing hasn't screwed up a different part of the flashed firmware?

Well with a safe flash the fw gets updated but also some files on the harddisk

And it seems that sometimes this is not going 100%
We always recommend a second reflash then.

What hard disk? I don't have one attached. All my media is on my NAS.

There is no HD in a Mini.

Because the default subtitle size is very large, I have to manually set subtitle size every time I view a video with .srt subtitles.

Since nearly everything I watch uses .srt subtitles, it is really irritating that the subtitle settings are not saved.

Couldn't believe this wasn't fixed either..
Ruins the fun for me having a mini with bad defaults combined with amnesia.

The device turns on. Loading Samsung. Ahrdysk. It resets itself. all the time. until I turn off the device. What's in r4824. does not happen. everything works
