Firstly: It is awesome that you develop an app - which PlayOn should do theme self...
Secondly: I have no knowledge of creating apps or anything like it, so bear with me...


I have an Adam (Notion Ink), and I want to try whether it's work on that.

I wondering if the app only works for movies or maybe also music?

Is there playlist function?

Is it possible to make an app for Grooveshark that can be used for Playon and controlled by this POHD control program from Insomnia.

There is xGrooveshark for PlayOn!HD, but I don't know if you can use it with Insomnia's program (I can't check it).

open source would be nice to see how an android app looks like for a media player.
It would simplify a whole framework (telnet, ...)

I myself have sold my ACRyan (emtec n200) and bought a WDTVLive which is much better in open source devellopment. The best things are done by WDLXTV.

My app which I first started for iphone SDK and ACRyan firmware, has stopped and continued for WDTVLive.
I can almost do everything : moviesheets, movie browsing (usb drives connected) + remote control (buttons, gesture pad,...) Here 's a first sample of the app: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pE4wRvouI0

Would be fun to see the source code, since it could start my experience on the unknown android SDK platform.

To bad, don't get it to wotk, not with my mini and also the mini2. Get always a connection error. I used the hostname as also the IP address.

Wow great, it's working just fine on my Nexus.
I'll be watching this topic for future updates.

Would be great to get the "movies" tab working for an USB drive as well.
Or am I missing something.
