This firmware r4824 is a problem firmware. It always hang up or reboot by itself when looking for movie. Can u guys remove it from system and don't install it by default during manufacturing ?

2nd, can u guys pls confirm why newly manufacturing 73110 can not downgrade to r4318 although safety mode and FAT32 pen drive are used. I believed it has been blocked. Old set 73100 can.
Pls advise.

This is my first post here so please don't shoot me

I just bought the PLAYONHD 73100 with 2tb hdd. Its an amazing peace of hardware with 2 many options but I love it...

I manage to install the R4824 firmware. (before Í screwed up like 20 times ). A lot is working BUT......When I turn the NAS mode and/or BT mode ON, He is loading it to turn the thing on.. after 2 seconds he is ready but it is still set to off? Also my internetradio is not working

My first and default firmware was working quite well (dont know anymore the firmwareversion). BT (didnt work) and NAS mode could be switched to ON, Then I could see the folders in Windows. I updated the version because of the BT problem.

Yesterday I managed to stream movies... JEEJJJ!! (I could see files at the POHD from my computer and could stream it, but the other way around to locate folders on the POHD at my computer doesn't seem to work)

I know I am a noob, but maybe someone can help me with this issue or copy a link towards a topic as I can't seem to find a proper one.

After two months firmware R4824 I became the same problems. Nowhere I could find the solution and even AC Ryan couldn't solve my problem. I tried all the available software I could find but nothing worked out good for me. I did not use the player for a month or so and I needed to install an image from my laptop with Windows7 on it. For the fun I tried to use the nas-server and bt-client. Since than everything works fine again.
The AC Ryan is not suitable for normal people. The Magic Box is even a big mistery for the developpers from AC Ryan. Don't change the firmware when you player works fine. I am afraid that with al the different Microsoft Windows SHIT, it is not possible to make a stable fw for the player.

Why is it that the USB connected external HDD ripping Blu-ray movies, finding it hard to play on?
A HDD: Western Digital Caviar Green 1.5T, 7200RPM.
Firmware: v7.0.6 r4318
The r4824 is the same error.

The new factory with FW (r3966) still do not see the HDD.
I just do not perceive!
