It's useless and futile to improve (or not) the gui and the basic features keep not working.
It's a stupid aproach!!!
It's like having a car with a bad engine, and then repaint it but the engine is still malfunctioning...

As I said before, first things first. When you have the software working like it should, then improve the gui. Until that, don't f*** things up...
Unless... the dev team is just copying medi8tor (or whatever) firmware and they dont really are skilled enough to do they job...

Are you listening AC Ryan? Please just fix the bugs in 4824. How many mini 1 users have to report going back to older FW before you realize that 2115 just adds new problems including a sluggish interface?

For now, I have put the mini aside and I am using another media player.

For all those that can only complain, I am happy with the current version (except for the performance).

For many, the performance is very important. Like using a modern quad core computer for feature rich web browsing vs. a sluggish old pentium. The new GUI is like using the old pentium, which may be just fine for you.

Indeed, I just want my damn mini to play my file properly and quickly, the GUI is nice to have but how can it be it does not even play de music from the start but skips a few seconds, I cannot and will not understand that ever. That is just basic thing what should have been fixed 10 firmwares ago, is that too much to ask? Just provide a simple lite version that is lightning fast and does what it is supposed to do, play ALL media files with max 2 clicks on the remote...... Does not seem like a very unreasonable request to me. Actually I would be thrilled with joy if they would just fix the time laps as just mentioned in firmware v7.3.x.r4824, that's it!

AC Ryan is generally listening, just not talking, except when you're talking about firmware from other vendors.

They are still listening.

And still working on the firmware

This takes time people i know you all want a new stable fw but they can't build that in 2 weeks

They work as hard as they possibly can.

4824 is based on sdk 3.x which has the known audio and subtitle bugs

Sdk 4.x doesn't have that bugs anymore

That is the reason they now build further on sdk 4.x
