Well another question here... Where can we pray for a new SDK functionality? since some of our wishes are SDK related we might better use our force to make Realtek build up better SDK, than all the time ask you for the same thing you seams not to be able to figure out with the present SDK...
So the question is, where to send our questions for SDK functionality...

Re: The big, "firmware developing", topic.
We don't give time indications anymore
Because when we name a date or a period and it takes longer then planned we get overloaded with flames.
New firmware will be released as soon as possible.

What part of "We're not going to give time estimates anymore and release it when it's done." don't you understand?

Re: The big, "firmware developing", topic.
I was having a look at the firmware "activity" in the early days and it seems like updates were more common back in the day. Sometimes even multiple firmware updates within a months time. Playon HD below: Quote: r1135 - July 2009 r1402 - August 2009 r1703 - Sept 2009 r1757 - Sept 2009 r1757 - Sept 2009 r2089 - October 2009 r2160 - Nov 2009 r2388 - Nov 2009 r2510 - Dec 2009 r2529 - Dec 2009 r2891 - Dec 2009 r2901 - Jan 2010 r3139 - Jan 2010 r3216 - Jan 2010 r3230 - Feb 2010 r3286 - Feb 2010 r3294 - Feb 2010 r3400 - March 2010 r3615 - April 2010 r3643 - April 2010 r3743 - April 2010 r3875 - May 2010 r4107 - May 2010 r4318 - June 2010 r3582 - August 2010 r4090 - October 2010 r4368 - October 2010 r4824 - Dec 2010
In april 2010, the HD users had recieved 10 firmwares so far that year. In april 2011, the HD users have recieved 1 firmware. Yeah I know, quality over quantity is all fine and dandy but since the 1 firmware delivered this year wasn't any good either I honestly don't know which approach that AC Ryan should pursue. According to Roger from AC Ryan: viewtopic.php?p=92020#p92020Roger wrote: The estimated time to launch a new firmware is always 3-4 months after the last one Which us kinda odd considering the list above but according to kraakie: viewtopic.php?p=92024#p92024kraakie wrote: Since the latest sdk demands more programming and also a new gui is used it simply takes more time to develop a new fw.
