Then if you suppose to finish the hebrew this week, what seems to be the problem? why not include it in this firmware? and if you not going to add it to this firmware then we'll have to wait until the next firmware or you'll release a patch or something like this for the HEBREW? No, the firmware is not released at the moment. But this firmware will only be able to display Hebrew text encoding in the correct right to left order, but sad to say, the punctuation does not follow the correct order and we are fixing this at the moment. We'll try our best to get it fixed asap.

We will have this new kit tested further before migrating to our own firmware. I'll update on this soon. Will Dolby TrueHD not be ready for the beta and final version of the new firmware or just the beta version? As informed, Realtek has yet to receive any schedule from Dolby on the TrueHD development. Thus it will not be ready even with the official release of the new firmware. BUT, before words gets misinterpreted, the coming firmware will still not support any HD audio formats yet. We need time to migrate our current firmware platform over to the raw kit and have it tested. It's gonna be as good as like talking about upgrading from Windows XP to Windows Vista and be hopeful that all previously working apps will run fine with the new OS.

Dion wrote: Was curious is the fix for the unit re powering itself after being turned off going to be in this firmware? I remember someone from ACRyan mentioning it in another post. I have to say I have managed to put my test unit to standby every time the red button was pressed in this new firmware. It appears that this firmware will freeze the last screen and shut down all services and do a proper shutdown in the background before cutting off the display. We will still need users to feedback on this once the firmware is released.

I have never had it repower when i push the button. But maybe others can explain there problems too.

I was asking if the FW fixes the problem when turn on and it always asking to format HDD EVERY F!ING TIME. In time I may accidentally format it because of that.

From what I gather, that issue should be resolved as well. Fingers crossed that it's a universal fix.
