ACryan seems to have lost interest in developing for the 1st gen-players.
They said that the new FW was only a matter of porting after release of the 2nd gen-players.
It' s been months now, and there seems to be little effort, or at least little progress making it happen.
Not to complain, just stating my opinion: Users, quit wining about the FW release. It' s not gonna change anything. Accept that your stuck with what you' ve got. And when time comes to buy something new, remember... Re: [BETA] ACR-PV73200 v7.4.x.r2115 Playon!HD GUI2 is soo slow on gen1 mini that its unusable. i tried, i REALLY tried to get a long but the lags were too bad.. had to downgrade to 4824... Also considering the mini is a networked player, no shortcuts is bordering on criminal  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update 4824 (GUI1?) with any new fixes, GUI2 is painful to use!

Re: [BETA] ACR-PV73200 v7.4.x.r2115 Playon!HD A brief question: when I try to access the Mini via DLNA through my LG BD-Player it asks for a CIFS logon. What's that and what do I enter? If I leave it blank access fails.

I don't know what kind of beta cycle ACRyan uses but it would be nice to see a new beta very soon...

Fully agree, speed is very slow and why are we unable to create a shortcut and have it on the home page. Even the first popcornhour was able to allow this. I was going to buy the new Mini 2 but not sure if it would be much faster.
