Why are so many people complaining? I use version r3582 without to many problems. Maybe a good idea for some other people as well?

When you keep in mind that the POHD Mini has a slow processor and cannot handle multiple (network) requests at the same time it all works fine for me. Another rule I stick to: never move a file over the network, only copy it. (it sometimes crashed when I moved a file)

I stream video, audio, listen to internet radio browse pictures over LAN and copy all my files to the drives connected to the PlayOn mini over LAN using the Playon copy function or from external system without problems!

Nothing is broken so please don't fix it!

Mayby because I get this kind of messages with the latest FW version! The only thing that helsp is pulling out the AC power plug and reset the Mini..




Other then that there are some minor issues, but still annoying..

Sorry but saying why are people complaining is just silly. I have one of the Mini's which can't use any of the old firmwares due to coming with 4624.

Again slower processor comment, completely pointless, new GUI was announced in 2009 when the Mini was only just available, but no ACR are money swindling cheaters who make the excuse of the slower processor mainly because they were not good enough to make it on the old processor so focused on building it around the newer ones.

Add to the fact that before GUI2.0 the old menus are still fairly terrible, ridiculous amount of button clicks etc

Knowone should be making excuses for this company anymore.

sorry guys this FW is just awful, looks pretty but its naff waited ages for this update and nothing has changed.
ill be looking for something else now

When will we have an Official FW for POHD MINI PV73200 SDK3? or will it be a continuous chase of new FW for new SDK´s? Sort of a never ending story .

I think they've confirmed that they will not do any more SDK 3 updates.

Having just upgraded to it, the only annoyances I've discovered are:

1. When passthru to S/PDIF is enabled it no longer transcodes audio so you constantly have to switch between passthru and LPCM.
2. When pausing video, the audio sometimes continues for a further second.

It never used to do either of these.

I'll wait and see what GUI 2.0 is like but why is it no company seems to be able to make a media streamer than just does the basics right? There is always a flaw.

All I use it for is streaming video over an NFS share.

This is as good as it gets IMO, no horrible slow down (GUI2) but with some eye candy.... Tried to use GUI to but it was painful

So is this GUI 2.0?
