Is there a tutorial on how to install the rss template and use it in your internetfeeds ?

i see some telnet stuff coming by but im confused

Is there a step for step tutorial on how to install the rss files moviejuxebox etc

So i can start my moviejuxebox from the internet feeds menu ?

I am attempting to give TViXiE2Playon!HD a go but having some issues. I have read a fair few pages of this this thread and watched the video tutorial but am still having problems.

I want to set my jukebox up on my external HD which is directly connected to the Playon, when I plug my external into my laptop and run tvixie it says it has created it all but if I load the index.html file it cant find 'otherall.html' or something (dont have the external plugged in anymore here).

My folder structure is basically \Movies\720p and \Movies\1080p with the jukebox being pointed at the \Movies\ folder. Looking at this thread am fairly sure it is due to my external not having a drive letter mapped but am really not sure.

Could someone please confirm?

I have install the Playon!X version of R4824 - from here - http://playon.unixstorm.org/installation.php

I can compile some cover from TViXiE2 software and create the junkbox index.htm at the hdd/movie/

When come to the Junkbox >> Select HDD >> select the index.html >> Update or not >> NO >> Select LAYout >> PhotoFocusView

Now, the Error appears - Unable to Service Request..

Anyone has any ideas?

I used Thumbget with TViXie2PlayonHD.

I think the profile isn't right in Thumbget, I used ACRyan POHD profile. Created covers, nfo's, movieinfo.
Now I dont know if TViXie2PlayonHD can use this.

Someone got this working and has the answer? Or do the filenames in Thumbget have to be the same as created by TViXie? TViXie2PlayonHD skipps all the movies.

Are the templates you are using in the Menu/view tab the ones supplied (located in the template/ YAMJ folders) when downloading the TViXie2 program? When watching the video tutorials there appears to be many more.

I have run the TViXi2E program but get a broken HTML.index file. The file does not work the POHD mini2 or PC. The only difference I see from your setup is in the profile tab where you have a different moviesheetfile name and custom file name. see below (left picture is files in jukebox folder).


Will this cause the issue of faulty html file?

Try to get the filenaming right:

Meta Data filename = Movieinfo export
Movies Info filename = Main moviesheet
Small poster filename = Thumbnail
Big poster filename = Extra Thumbnail
Moviesheet filename = Extra moviesheet (?????)

Dont know anything about the Custom filename

Been using TViXiE2Playon!HD happily for some months now and got myself quite the library of movies and beautiful sheets etc.

After upgrading to the latest firmware today I realized the new Jukebox didn't work with the settings.

And since there is a new "internetmedia" menu I wasn't able to install and try the RSS version.

Is there any hope for me or do I we have to wait for a new version of the program that might be compatible with the new FW?

I'm a new user of tvixiePlayon!HD.
Carefully reading al content available started to generate the jukebox from my thumbgen results.

For obvious reasons waited doing this untill the new firmware was released.

Thanks everyone for the info posted here, made it possible to work out the process.
Funny enough the process would be much faster if there was some sort of an explanation on what the options (fields) in TVixie mean and do.

I've just generated a straitforward jukebox finding out that the only thing i see on my Playon Mini is and empty overview with at the top the selection boxes with pulldown menu. (Menu's are all emtry accept for the option "All".)
Wanted to try some other settings I found the news posts are from members that had a working jukebox untill they upgraded to the newest firmware (beta).

Can the experts confirm that al test are useless on the new firmware untill TVixie ungrades their TVIxiePlayon!HD.

Or is the latest "normal" TViXie version (I Think released last month) something that can be worked with.


Ideas are very welcome.
