You can try, it's always good, but when I reported this problem I was on your version 3 with your font. With Hebrew is the same (copy finished properly). Any more ideas?
Busybox has limited Unicode support, I have no control over it.

Re: PlayOn!X firmware (Optware friendly r4824)
Mayby I haven't searched enough in this topic, but I've got a problem after installing the firmware: I can't connect to the internet via de wireless dongle and I can't open the Playon!HD in a browser ( http://192.168.2.10:1024). I allso can't start the FTP-service and Bittorrent. I can see the PO!HD in my network and on the config.page of my router.

Re: PlayOn!X firmware (Optware friendly r4824)
Mikka, thank you for providing all this added-value to our toys :=)
I have successfully installed xVoD and Streams, as well as the required optware-components on my Playon!DVR-HD - of cause I cannot use the Playon!X-FW on my device.
The only problem I have is that most of the keys on my remote don't work with xVoD, so some of the features are not available to me. Am I right to say, that the key-mapping / key-assigment is done in the FW, and there is nothing I can do, or is there a way ???
Thank you!

Look here (services table): http://playon.unixstorm.org/configuration.php for a list of ports. As you can see Web server in Revision 4 is running on default port, so no 1024 is needed. How are you starting FTP and Bittorent?

Thank you! As you've already noticed xVoD has been originally created for other media player and we don't have yellow, red etc. buttons in remote. Remapping keys in xVoD should do the job (search for <onUserInput> actions).

I guess you deserve at least that we, users, spend some time helping you improve the amazing stuff you're providing for us... Probably only on the weekend, though, but I'll give it a go on Rev.4 and report back
