http://www.acryan.com/downloads/Firmware_PV72100TV_6.2.1262UO(866).zipThe change log remains the same as our previous 842 version, as there are no major changes except for some codes to improve on the schedule recording.
We would like to have your feedback if this version works for you.

This Firmware is built from several Devices with VENUS Linux from REALTEK, use it for FREE and at your own risk! .
How to flash the firmware?
What do i need to succeed?
Here is a SIX step procedure to install the firmware
First of all: The Ingredients.
-1 USB memory stick of appropriate size
-A suitable firmware for your box, with added MHDWorld backdoor
-the current MHDWorld IPKG (the package containing all these nice and face add ons)
Second: Preparing the stick.
- Backup its contents of USB stick.
- empty the stick or, if not already done already, format it with FAT32
- unpack the content of the firmware-archive and the ipkg-archive to the sticks root directory
(Number of files may slightly differ, since some firmware-archives contain less files than others)

Third: Eject / unmount the stick and pull it out.
Fourth: Get over to the box, inform the ones watching tv right now that their program will be interupted for higher purposes and shut down the box. stick the usb stick into the boxes usb port, disconnect mains from the box (pull the plug, unless you really know what you are doing - then you may also use the hard power switch at the back of the box

just dont confuse it with the soft power button at the front!) hold the soft power button and put the power back on. while still holding the soft-power button for approx. 5 seconds you should see the installation screen showing up on your tv set.
Fifth: wait.
Sixth: After a Reboot the box needs to be set up. Configure the network interface using the tv menu. After you are done you should be able to access the box bia a web browser. If the Installation worked properly, the MHDWorld Homepage should occour, if anything went wrong, all you get will probably be a red background with the MHDWorld Backdoor options in front. If so, just install the IPKG manually through the webinterface - either on SDA, which happens to be your USB stick or on HDD1 which should be the internal harddrive).
