I like everything about what the DVR can do. What's a little shy to meet my needs is the scheduling function.

The current design is quite good comparing with many DVRs out there. I like the fact that apart from just one off recordings, we can set them to repeat like M-F, etc..

What really meet my needs is if there's an option to select the days to repeat the schedule on individually. e.g. I have a program that plays every Mon, Wed, Fri, 2pm to 3pm. Current options will be either, set 3 schedules (one for each day) or put it on a M-F 2pm to 3pm schedule. Either way is a little less efficient.

What will be great is if I can set the timing of 2pm to 3pm followed by the days to repeat on... like by providing check boxes. So I just check the days I want to record from 2pm to 3pm.

In addition, if the schedules can be increased beyond 8, it will be great as well. Not as a solution to the above, but there are times that even with an efficient solution, I will need to set more than 8 schedules.

Will these be possible in future firmware updates?

888Michelle888, to record from starhub tv, you can do it. But you need to schedule manually. It will not be the same as using a hubstation.

will there be option for IR blaster?

this way, the DVR can change the channel on the set-top box by blasting IR for changing channels.

Anyone from ACRyan Support? When can we expect improvements on scheduling recording?
