Hi for the wrong cover I suggest an .nfo file for the film - see the wiki It's a text file in the same directory as the film, same name as the film, one line of text with the URL to the IMDB reference

I wish there was resolution to the message where it tells me the html file is read only on the Mini player. Tried updating the fimware to no avail

Re: [How to] use and setup the YAMJ trial version.
Hi all, I'm pretty new to the POHD Mini, having bough mine just before Christmas. I love it, as do the rest of the family but I've run into some trouble trying to get the Movie Jukebox working. Hopefully the experts on here can help sort my woes! First up I have a NAS drive with 2 shares, backup and media. All of my media is in media, funnily enough. under that. I have a Videos folder which contains 3 directories, Films, Jukebox and TV Shows. I have used the YAMJ tool to generate the Jukebox data there and all looks good. However, if I look at the generated YAMJ HTML all of the links to the media files seem to be quasi-absolute. For example href="file://../Films/44-Inch-Chest.avi". If I open this in a browser on my PC it can't open the file. If I edit the HTML file and change the link to href="../Films/44-Inch-Chest.avi"it then works. Which one is correct? I thought POHD needed relative references, relative to the index.html, in which case the latter would be correct or am I wrong Secondly, I can't get the jukebox to open on the POHD. If I open the Movie Jukebox from the root menu, I am asked to navigate to the index.html file. So I go to "Network" then "VOLUME" (the work group) then "MEDIASERVER", the name of the NAS, and then "media", at which point the POHD hangs. I've left it there for over an hour with no response and then had to power it off. I never get to pick the Videos folder under media where the index.html is. Any ideas what's going wrong or how to find out what the POHD is up to?

Re: [How to] use and setup the YAMJ trial version.
Hi Fir startters, one thing with the POHD or Mini, is that when looking for the index.html file, it will scan the entire drive, and not just the directory you want to point it at - effectively every share under your NAS if accessing via the GUI. So it takes time to scan. Also there can be problems with some firmwares where a file / path length of longer than 85 Characters can cause the box to hang For starters I wouuld advise looking at the file / paths and checking directory structure depth, and file names to make them as short as possible. I would also look at moving to the latest firmware for the Mini - r4824 - see the article in the firmwares forum for the link The POHD does use relative file paths, for the basic YAMJ installation file://../Films/44-Inch-Chest.avi, based on the GUI entry in the library XML file should work on the Mini. Hope this helps, there are other things that can be done, the above should get things moving

Thanks Andy. I've already upgraded to the latest firmware so I don't think that should be an issue. Thanks for confirming the path's are OK. Seems a bit strange that it wants to scan the entire drive rather than let me point it to the right location. I'll give it another go and leave it running for a few hours. Fingers crossed!

Quick update. I checked the firmware and I was already on 4824. I left it running overnight and it never completed, over 8 hours to scan a 2 TB drive that's only 25% utilised? Hmmm. I think there's something else not quite right.
I might try one on a small USB stick and see if I can get that to work first

Re: [How to] use and setup the YAMJ trial version.
For some reason when I run the AC Ryan version of YAMJ I now get the following error message:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.moviejukebox.scan ner.artwork.PosterScanner at com.moviejukebox.MovieJukebox.updateMovieData(MovieJukebox.java:1329)
and it doesn't pull in cover art.
However, when I run my Popcorn Hour version it works perfectly and brings in the artwork. So I'm now running the PH version to get the artwork and then the ACR version to set up the index file.
Any ideas why the ACR version is bringing up the above error?

Re: [How to] use and setup the YAMJ trial version.
Have upgraded the version of YAMJ without deleing the lib folder first? You need to delete te lib folder before installing a new version on top of the old one. This issue is usually caused by this upgrade problem
