Maybe you can change the setup of your components as well? It's just a suggestion, but my experience is that the sound from my surround set is better than the sound of my tv...

Every music file a play (mp3, flac, whatever) starts at an offset of about 1 or 2 seconds. That means that i never hear the first 1 or two seconds of a song, pretty darn annoying. It also seems that the time counter is not correct.
Is there anyone who is going to fix this?

Agree.My surround set also better than my TV.But i will switch off my surround set when i watching TV news or TV series.This is because our TV channel sound quality is 2 channel audio only and no need play in surround set. AC Ryan Development team please addin the HDMI audio off into next firmware.Appreciate if could help on this.Thanks in advance.

But I agree that many users won't use a surround set for watching tv and that the mute sound option for the hdmi connection is the best way to solve it.
