Just bought the new essential 2TB. Can't seem to copy a file from my external drive to the essential harddisk.
It keeps saying not enough disk space, which ofcourse is not true. Any thoughts? I used the settings menu to format the disk, just to be sure but is says the same message error.

btw is there a manual? can't find it online. The ones i did refers to the other models with the differt GUI.
I already have the mini so the essential is a nice addition with the 2tb.

Maybe you have an idea of how the wireless dongle will work on this machine as there are no network atributes in the essential unit?

I don't use a network. So i haven't got a clue. Like the mini i use the essential to play movies from the external harddrive. Perhaps one day i use the network but i'm happy with the way it is.

The new gui looks pretty but the old interface is faster. Wheter it is easier is still a question mark for me. The old interface gets me where i want to go, sometimes i just get lost with the new GUI. The remote/input is a sec behind. I hope that can be fix with a firmware update.

Problem solved. Don't know how or why. It suddenly worked.

About the manual, there is only the quick guide available, so there is no manual for this player available right now. I have forwarded the request/ETA for a electronic version though.

Essential is released totally without networking so there is no Wifi support right now, this is something we will add on a later stage though.
