The problems with Windows 7 and BitTorrent lately due to changes in protocols and Windows Live Essential, have not gone by unnoticed by AC Ryan Staff. Our engineering team has worked around the clock to solve the issues and most issues should be solved. In total 30 improvements have been made, including the BT and W7 fixes.

How to update this firmware:

We strongly recommend users to perform System Update instead of Safe Mode Reflash. In case of problems when updating this firmware, please reflash the firmware again using Safe Mode Reflash instead. Update instructions can be found in the changelog.

I am sorry to say that but this firmware is a complete mess.

First I was not able any more to set the logical number I have used for years in DTV. So you have to create a list with numbers not in order (if you survive!) e.g 10,2,6,2,8,20 etc. Very intuitive! Now logical numbers are fixed! DTV scanning looks much slower now. After trying to arrange the channels at some point I had no picture from channels, I had to reboot.

Chaos!!! Going back to a previous version. My nerves!!!

I will check this tomorrow. I have not heard anything similar from our tests. Can you re-flash with safe-mode method to see if problem still remains?

I always use safe method. Such behavior cannot be explained with flashing corrupted code, if this is possible, as will cause crashes not changed logic. And I expect that there is a verification of the flashed file, if it is intact. Some check-sum etc.

I flashed 4538 Asian again. I had again the problem with not showing channels. Maybe this is caused of the fast changing of channels to assign the logical numbers (and remote button numbers).

I hope the channel rearrangement logic will go as it was before, when it was very good and I was able to quickly rearrange channels order and remote key assignment quickly.

As it has coded in version is really terrible and unusable.

Same problem here, if I sort the DTV channels on a different sequence then the numbering stays the same.
For example I would like to have NED3 on place 4, then it shifts to place 4 only the numbering stays 3.
Tested with the europe firmware.

Same problem with channels , very annoying.
