I am still on AC Ryan PlayOn! HD 7.0.6 r2388 firmware and everything runs smooth. Only the compressed MKV files gives problems.

Sorry to hear that you are not happy. I can however ensure you that we have a lot of happy customers. We also try to help those who have issues. There will always be people who are not happy and I do also agree that our latest firmware has not lived up to par. It's not like we want that to happen but sometimes it does and we are working very hard to fix it. Without going into details, you are free to return your product if you are not happy with it. If we can't support your needs then we can't.
If you got questions you are free to reply here, pm, email or call us up and I will try my best to help.
Br, A lot of us do not agree on the highlighted above. It should be your " latest firmware and most (if not all) the firmwares before that has not lived up to par". This is not against moderators but to AcRyan and their firmware developers.

We will continue to deliver firmware and try to reduce the bugs we know and can reproduce. Thats all we can do. We don't have the same manpower/resources as other big electronic companies. But please continue to demand and tell us what we are doing wrong in a good mannered way and we always try to listen. Thanks

They are analyzing the new sdk and the new codes. How long does analyzing takes? The firmware developer already had the SDK for almost TWO months now.....

The new Playon!GUI 2.0, and releasing a new product has taken a lot of manpower/hours. I don't have exact details of course, but I'm sure 5-6 people have worked more than full time on the new GUI for more than 2 months. That also means that they drop other things they are working on. We are not Microsoft when it comes to manpower, but we try Br,

I am not too hopefull that this new Playon GUI 2 thingy is going to fix much. I'd like ACRyan to prove me wrong but it seems to me more of "Fur coat and no knickers" than bug fixes and stable firmware. I'd also like to see more information flowing on what to expect with this new SDK 4.0 and the new interface. The lack of info is worrying. The lack of contact\views from Junwei and the development fellas is disapointing. Is anyone, outside of ACRyan, testing this new (phantom) firmware? What are their views? What issues, if any, has it fixed? I am certain a lot of the regulars here would like updates. Even hints. Tell us what is happening... Please. Cheers. A.V.
