Hello,

We have changed the priority of the releases. I just heard that after the Essential is done. We will convert the SDK 4.0 + Playon!GUI 2.0 to the ACR-PV76120(DVR) first, then to Playon!HD and Mini. This will be updated to all mediums such as twitter/facebook as well shortly.

Reason for this is that the firmware is further developed to the DVR and we can release that one faster. I don't have exact dates. But early December would be expected for the DVR and late December for the Playon!HD/Mini.

Mikael, although I don't like the message, new firmware late december, (I need to entertain the kids on their x-mas break ;) ) thanks for your clear answer. Is it perhaps an idea that we can subscribe to getting an e-mail in case of a new (Beta) firmware?

Great idea. I really do not have the time to monitor this forum for solutions. Bought the POHD to work for me and now it became a burden to me

Hehe, late December is busy for all I think! Kids or not :) Sorry for that!

Our current newsletter does not include beta firmware updates/or normal firmware updates. I think it's a good idea, at least for official firmware. I will forward this request to our Marketing people and see what they think! You you can subscribe for the current news letter on our front page here -> http://www.acryan.com

That all depends on what we find once we start testing it. That's why we can't give exact dates since we need to have space for some changes if required.

Hello again,

I just wanted to inform that we will include firmware/beta releases in our future newsletters. I just got back from our marketing personal and they already had this planned without my knowledge :)

So till then I will have to wait and not be able to use a device, btw the GUI in the new firmware is awfaul, you can not see where you are or what you have selected.

Can you make a preliminary release with half of new features, just with this BT fix, because it will drive me crazy, I can not image being not able to download movies and series for a month.

I have given all the information I have about this matter currently. I recommend you to use your PC meanwhile. I'm not holding back anything and I never will. Anything that can help will be posted as soon as we have good answers. Please keep patient.
