I am looking at buying a Media Player but the one that I do end up with, must play .asx, as that I believe, is what is needed to listen to a particular Internet Radio station in my country, New Zealand. The station does not broadcast to my area on FM but I can listen to it on my notebook, with Windows 7.
What does "Uitzending gemist", mean in English? Can you ask the Development team, if support for streaming broadcast formats like asf asx etc, will be supported sometime in the future &, if the answer is yes, an indication as to when approximately?
If they say no, please point out to them, that some of their competitors support it & isn't it good business practice to be at least equal in format support, if not ahead of the competitors.
Please report back on what their answer is.

I followed the link above & it took some reading up on it & some time but I am now listening to my favorite New Zealand FM station, which I can not receive over the air, from my location http://www.thecoast.net.nz/ListenLive/My knowledge is very limited but will always try new things. I am in my 60's & it is hard enough retaining knowledge, let alone learning new. lol Anyone else who tried & gave up as too hard, or felt lost with the instructions given, PM me & I will do what I can to help you.
