 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
Hey Matt/Seattle,
Thanks for the advice. I tested this out by deleting the YAMJ creating jukebox folder / index.htm file and created a clean set using T2P. Hooked up to the TV and voila all movies are now playing fine. Cheers bud.
Quick additional question. Previously when using YAMJ I had two folders setup on the root of my internal drive. One called Movies and one called TV. Obviously the later was for various tv season's. Using YAMJ I created a seperate index.htm and jukebox folder for each location. This worked fine.
Will the same thing work with T2P now that I am using this only?
Thanks. Londo

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
The assistant modifys the movieinfo.tvixie file which contains the metadata for each movie. You have to have a movieinfo.tvixie to do this first though so it is a three part process.
1. Fetch metadata for all movies you need to update or that are brand new additions to your library with Tvixie. 2. Run the Tvixie assistant to modify the movieinfo.tvixie file with correct MediaInfo additions. 3. Rerun Tvixie but you do not need to refetch metadata. Just reapply the template to the movie and it will pull the new information into the background.jpg image.
You will of course have to edit your template with the appropriate input names to pull those values from the movieinfo.tvixie.
***Londo, yes you will have no problem creating multiple jukeboxes for different root folders. At this time though I do not think the T2P program is ready for handling of TV series though I think that the Tvixie program itself has some templates that are TV capable. I think this is something you should play around with and try to get to work. Download their Paeegie + TV template and see exactly how it is setup to use multiple files within the same folder. That will be the first step - then try to modify Pe3's template to get it to work. The templates are pretty easy to manipulate using the template editor.

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
All things worth doing take some effort. I myself do not see the point of having the resolution and sound codec on the background.jpg since it makes absolutely no difference to the finished media viewing. The AVR automatically switched between AC3 and DTS and I can not see the difference between 720P and 1080P without close inspection and if I could it would not change my choice of movie to watch (I have nothing that is not 720P or 1080P). It is there just to look pretty and I have it there since I like things to be complete. I prefer this over YAMJ because of choice. I can modify the look any way I wish and I prefer this: Over Yamj's current background.

The requested feature is more or less available (play part) would be nice in case just a few more titels/lines wouldl be visible, for instance 10 and the preview window would be slightly increased.

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
I am glad you posted that other topic thread. The firmware release notes were non existent this round and I would have never known about playing the first media title in a folder from the upper file level if not for that.
On a side note the code use to create the TVixie interface on the PlayOn!HD is beyond my readily capable ability - like trying to decipher DNA with all the equipment but no knowledge. I just cannot quite grasp the RSS code. If anyone could do a synapsis overview of the variables and function calls that would be great. I was playing around with the variable within catagories1 (I think - the one that makes the 2 x 5 grid) and was able to make a 3 x 10 grid and figured out the picture size variables but had some issues.
Do I need to change some code in the other rss files to make this work?

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
Hi Which firmware version of the YAMJ gives the best results with the TViXiE ?
Im using now v7.06.r2388 Firmware (SDK 2) Without yamj .
I would like to upgrade but cant wait any more to the offical version of the yamj (too much time it takes).
Please mention if A hdd format is needed.
10x.

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
I see there is a Mede8r setting fo rTvixie which is very similar to he POHD. Anyone try that?
Do your pictures fill the screen vertically when you use the Browser method and hit the SLOW button?

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
Looks like the background.jpg picture is being clipped off when I do the "SLOW" button to zoom the image in the normal browser. I am using the 720p templates. My TV is a Samsung 720p although the actual size is 1196 x 660 in the POHD screen size setup

 Re: How to use TViFXiE2Playon!HD
Hi guys i just created a jukebox using tvixie and peggy v1 template after starting th pohd and enetering the jukebox everythin seems to be in good shape except that when pressing on a movie cover every thing is there except the fanart i get a gryish black background instead though i checked the movie folders and each one has a fanat.tvixie file in there so this have to do with the peggy template, should i use the standard 720p instead ?????
