This script for them mini installs a lot less than what Vonck is doing for the PlayonHD (binaries and other stuff) . Or did I miss a line in the script?

Does this mean the Mini version has less functionality?

I'm kinda a noob on this area. So i don't understand anything from the original post.

How do i add a site to all that stuff on the 1st page and get it on my tv?
I don't use a wireless network by the way.

Hi guys, i was able to instal Metafeeds however after trying to connect i just got message "hostname www.metafeeds ... " (not found i guess)

any idea how to get around ?

I guess there is something wrong with the DNS entry. Can you try to make a connetction via telnet to the box and then make a ping to any known web address ( ebay for example). if you get a timeout message, there is something wrong with the dns or gateway entry in the resolve.conf.
In the resolver should be an entry for you gateway (usualy your router address).

Install was successful for me, but it messes up the 'Internet Feeds' menu. I can see the Metafeeds button in the beginning of the list, but the News, flickr and Weather buttons disappeared. Does this have something to do with the fact that I have not got a FullHD TV? (I'm using simple S-Video)

I've installed Metafeeds on my Mini today - a couple of things not quite right though.
The installer prompted me for my metafeeds username, couldn't find the page on the metafeeds site and didn't setup the menu file correctly - tried the installer twice, and then edited the menu.rss file to correct the problem and the favourites item now works. Yes I did have a valid username on the site and did enter it correctly!
No icons appeared in the 'News' Item on the metafeeds page.
The News item in menu.rss refers to news_focus_en.jpg and news_unfocus_en.jpg - these file names need the _en removing from their name to work on the mini.
The same is true of the Weather Item - which I've also fixed.
However, the Picasa, News, Flickr and Weather items will not display the title on the menu page on the playonhd mini - any ideas would be appreciated
