Dude your Mini must be replaced with a new chipset one, so contact the vendor you brought it from or if you brought it from AC Ryan contact them.

The new mini is - ACR-PV73200P+ (1073DD C+)

My version mini no longer supports the new firmware?
New firmware will not take into account the "old" mini?

I also had a problem with my Mini that was a old one, I was told to bring it back and the new one has no problems.

Just do that .

But if that case, It is very difficult for me to take the Mini back to Europe(nederlands) and bring it back to Bahrain. I have purchased my MINI thru my senior engineer who is a Nederland guy. shall I want to send back the mini in order to get the new firmware worked? Please tell me, then I'll try with him once more time to take it back to Europe.

I am a little concerned (and certainly a bit confused) by the discussion about the processor in my HD mini.
I live in New Zealand and bought my PlayOn HD mini in March 2010 - so there is no way it will have the newer processor.

I am currently using the software version that reports to be 7.0.21 r4107 - Its working mostly ok but of course like most users I dont think the menu is particularly good.

From the link on the PlayOn site it appears the + processor just has enhanced (7.1) audio capabilities - I am not too worried if I dont get that facility.

From the recent discussions are you saying that the newer firmware will most likely brick the older HD minis (like mine)? I cant see AC Ryan giving free upgrades/replacements somehow.

Can someone at AC Ryan confirm (or not) if the older non + chip devices will be able to install future software releases?

I've upgraded my mini with Firmware_PV73200_v7.3.6.r4415_European4415 and have noticed a couple of issues.

When browsing films and I move from one to the other, preview seems to take an age compared to 4312. At first I thought it wasn't working and backed out of the directory and tried again.

When selecting a film on my NAS it takes much longer to load and start than it did with version 4312 of the firmware.

I have had my mini randomly reset whilst flicking through the menus. I have re flashed with the European 4415 but it is still happening. I've not had this problem before.
