 Re: [Official]POHD PV73100 (SDK3.X) r3582
JunWei, please assist me. My set seems like can only operates in ver 7.0.6r3643. After I follow the normal steps of upgrade the firmware to 7.3.3r3582, the set boot back into main menu with a error message box appears on top "Sorry! Unknown hardware! The firmware can't work." What is actually going on? Had tried numerous different versions but none seems working beside ver 7.0.6r3643. It really pissed me off and I nearly thrown it out from my window. With ver 7.0.6r3643 I can't even enjoy flash(.flv) format video clips. Please Help!

Put player to 'stand by' = Red colour on power button. Then remove HDMI cable (if you have this). Press start button and then insert the HDMI cable after 1-2 minutes. I heard someone had 'success' doing this. If you can't downgrade to older firmware and from their upgrade again to new version then you would have to get a new player from your re-seller. To be safe you could also format your USB-stick to FAT32 again to have safe results. Br,

S/W 7.0.6 r4318 Board 1073DD C+ Bootloader 0000.0202.0023L Which of the official and stable firmware should I grab from here I just don't understand why there are so many versions of firmware for the POHD. This just confuse the owners especially for non-tech savy ones. I've a friend who owns another popular media player and the firmware upgrades is fast and just only a newer update. For the moment, the only problem I'm having is going online. Nothing seems to work. The connection to my home network is no problem.

There recently was someone who tried to flash his POHD MiniPV73200 with the nomal POHD's PV73100 FW. (Could also be the other way around)

Then remove HDMI cable (if you have this). Press start button and then insert the HDMI cable after 1-2 minutes. However, the result appears to be the same error message. Had tried to downgrade the FW to v7.0.6r3875, the set boot and able to load into main menu, unfortunately the set will automatically power off after 6 press on the remote control. Had switched back to v7.0.6.r3643. When I called up and checked with the re-seller, they claims there is no 1 to 1 replacement, instead "Repair". Which mean I needs to wait for 1 month to get the set repaired. Not only that, they claims that this is user fault as they do not recommend user to perform FW upgrade. As for the repair, I required to pay to get the set "Repaird"!

If other methods fail, do a safe mode reflash.

I have read back his posts, an from what i've read i believe he almost has a degree in FW flashing (Normal and Safe Mode). I really think it's a hardware fault, but his supplier refuses to take back the unit, and says it's his own fault, and won't send it on for repairs under warranty. @hantux2I don't know where you live, but if i were you, (and you still have the receipt) i would contact ACRyan in your region directly, and ask if they can help you. Or send a PM to Mikael

 Re: [Official]POHD PV73100 (SDK3.X) r3582
Hi,
I didn't know where to post this question. so excuse me if this is the wrong topic.
While flashing an sdk3x firmware (v7.3.x. ) the bootloader is updated (correct me if i'm wrong) to 0000.0202.1026L I'm back to a 7.06.xxxx version of the firmware. In the system info: fw version is back to an old one, but still the bootloader version states 0000.0202.1026L. Bootloader is not downgraded.
How do i downgrade the bootloader? i used standard update (via the menu) and also the safe update (holding the powerbutton). or is the bootlader not of importance? (is it not a "special"sdk3 bootloader)
thnx.

There is NO need to downgrade the bootloader. Many users have downgraded, and a stable version for SDK 2 is v7.0.6r3875.
