Am I the only one who find the naming scheme of the firmwares to be confusing?

When I first went to the page to get the newest fw I got r3875 since that was an official version, and had the highest number. I found it strange that older numbers were higher up, but hey; some people prefer older versions.

Later I realised that there is another number that actually tells the generation or whatever you call it...

AC Ryan: You might consider using "v7.3.6" as the version number in the thread name instead of r3582 and "v7.0.21" instead of r3875 to avoid confusion regarding what is the newest version of your firmware.

I just discovered a list mode for browsing which greatly improves navigation on my Lan. Don't know if it is a new feature, but it sure is great. It doesn't display the path properly on the top of the screen, and there is some empty space on the bottom of the screen which might have been better used to display more of the folder contents, but I love it.

I don't understand how folder protection is supposed to work. The gfx with four boxes and no text is not helpful, and I can't get it to do anything anyway... It just fails.

The system time is gone. I can't find neither manual or internet time. Maybe it's for the best. I don't really need for the mini to know what time it is anyway.

There is an option for changing the font which gives me no alternative fonts. Not that I need to switch the font, but I would have liked to be able to reduce the size.

Maybe a moderator will be kind enough to move this to the proper thread when the new fw is announced? Just thought I should share my thoughts as soon as I tried it.

From what I heard it was gone already in the previous betas ... i sure hope they put it back in the new POHD firmware ...

Also installed the new beta and so far so good for what I am using it for.

By the way my replacement Mini's blue led light is dimmed when it is one and it is only noticeably when you are looking close at it .
I am happy with this because when the player is on and you are sitting in front it the power of the light is a little annoying.
