with this firmware i can't contact my synology ds209 in any way using my local network.
Did not do any other testing because i cant connect to my media

Still cannot play certain MKV files, and the firware update from acryan doesn't seem to come. Have now givin this unit away, and got myself a WD Live TV boks, and this plays the MKV files that wont play on the A.C Ryan mini I realy liked the look and feel of the a. c. ryan min better, but if it doesn't work and the company's support is slow and the fixes they make don't work anyway, then whats the use. The Eagle I had a WD Live TV and got the Mini instead, because the WD has to many network problems and slow support.....

Re: [INTERIM FIX | BETA] PV73200 POHD Mini (SDK3.X) r4090 I previously got The same error "Unknown Hardware" when upgrade to 3582 as describe in viewtopic.php?f=108&t=8305I got replace with new box, it's woke fine till now however r4312 have problem with several mkv file mostly when turn on subtitle the display gone blank, most can fix by remux with mkxtoolnix 3.4, but some of them can not So, I decide to upgrade to 4090 by upgrade to 3582 then to 4090 (both with system upgrade) Now I can play those mkv files without any problem hope that "Unknown Hardware" will not happen again (Last time it happen after turn off device for 1 day) ** I notice that "Time settings" has gone from r4090 setup menu **

Re: [INTERIM FIX | BETA] PV73200 POHD Mini (SDK3.X) r4090 I also had the "Unknown Hardware" error but I found out that if you leave the USB drive with the install.img file on it in the unit the error goes away. sorry later on discovered that it did not help and the error is back

Re: [INTERIM FIX | BETA] PV73200 POHD Mini (SDK3.X) r4090 Okay reverted back to v7.3.6.r3582 and then upgraded to this new beta. And tata network works with my ds209. And used it now for 2 day's and till now no problems discoverd. Not tried al files types but till now no problems. Only problem i had untill now and that wass with v7.3.6.r3582,it happend when i played bdremux file the sound stotterd. Hope this is solved with the beta firmware diddnt had the time to test this. Xcuse my bad english

Re: [INTERIM FIX | BETA] PV73200 POHD Mini (SDK3.X) r4090 For the people who are having the 'hardware error', I was adviced to bring the player back too were I brought it and switch it for a new chipset one!, because it is a hardware failure in the player.
So I did this and installed the new beta on it and it's now 4 days later and everything is fine.

Re: [INTERIM FIX | BETA] PV73200 POHD Mini (SDK3.X) r4090 Acid90 referred to a beta 4415. I just tried to download that by switching the name when downloading 4090. And guess what? It worked!
But now I have an imagefile that I'm reluctant to install on my mini. I really don't want to brick it...
What do you guys think?

Please note that it requires base of r3582 before installing this r4415 using system update.
