Not really a bug but something that could come with the new firmware. Please make sure that menuselections are better visible. On a CRT television the selected menuitem is hardly visible.

Lots of players have problems with the changes made in MKV files. The defaults were changed to improve compression but somehow the most of the developers of players PC and Linux (possibly Mac too?) did not keep step. I re-multiplex MKV files with compression set to NONE for each video and audio stream. It takes at most 2 minutes for a big 720p movie and ensures all MKV capable players can cope. The effect of the additional compression seems to be just to anoy everyone the few megabytes it saves are not worth bothering about IMHO.

I read some pages back that xtreamer team has solved that problem.
I also remux mkv when they are compressed, but would be better if all files are supported.

Someone mentioned that a fix is coming real soon in the form of a Beta release.

Can't acryan just reinsert the time-function? (i own the acr-pv73100 with 1073DD board)
And just do an auto resync at boot-time to sync the "clock" with a time server.
(or do this once or twice a day, or an hour, or....)

now time and date of files are allways in the past.

The firmware was okay, maybe ACRyan could spend more time in more compatibility with some mkv and avi files that won't play corectly.

I'm more and more disapointed in this product.

Downloaded and installed this new version. Its not working properly. I miss time/remaning time when playing audio files. Also missing bitrate etc. when pressing the info button.
The soom function is not working well. After setting my screen dymensions, I get a green line on the top and left hand site of my screen. I mentioned also problems with the SPDIF.
I go back to version 4013...

I'm really confuse with DTS-HD Master Audio & Dolby TrueHD passthrough feature.
Some people said only POHD with 1073DD C+ chipset can has this feature with the ongoing firmware development but not for POHD with old 1073DD chipset. Is that true?

The DD isn't capable for DTS HD, the C+ is. Realtec claimed it would, hence the post of 2009.
