What do you use for generating those sheets and info files?

I am working on a Thumbgen/TVixie2PlayonHD guide (don't know when it's done)

I had that error before. It is possible that you have corrupted .tgmd or .nfo files in your movie folders. Delete and generate them again iwth TG again. That should resolve the TViXiE2Playon!HD error.

Here are screenshots of my settings.

This way it works for me.

Let me know if it works for you as well, so I can incorporate this in my guide...

Thanx a lot man! This really helps a lot! Me and future people trying to get started!
I haven't fully tested this! (Didnt have much time today)
I generated new files with thumbgen (using your settings) and then used tvixi (using your settings) which this time gave no error!
The process say DONE at the end.
However when I run the index.htm (on computer) I get a message that it didnt found "Other_all_1.htm" or something like that..
(I didnt test on the playonhd yet.. sorry, but i'm really out of time today!)
Will give more feedback when I have time to fully test it!
Once again thanks a lot for the help =)

Problem solved! Either this did it, or the fact that I connected to the player (Previously I was using temporary folders on the computer for testing purposes only), or even the fact that I changed my settings like 's1l3nc0r' said.
Thanks for the help =)

Sorry for such a late response.. but like I previously said I don't have a lot of time..
The settings you said worked flawlessly!
I now have some doubts altough.
I used the following folder structure
c:\Lost\Season 6\S06E01.mkv
c:\Lost\Season 6\S06E02.mkv
...
for TV shows .
(I used TVDB only and checked check movie by folder using 'Playon!HD TV Show' settings)
But when using the Jukebox on the Playon!HD I have every episode like it was an independent movie.
Just to make sure I make myself clear, when browsing the jukebox I see

"Movie 1", "Movie 2", "Lost - Season 6 - EP 1", "Lost - Season 6 - EP 2" ... "Lost - Season 6 - EP 14", "Movie 3"...

Isn't there a way to group the episodes in a way that only a sheet is displayed per TV Show or at least per Season?

The same happens with multi-part movies, I get two sheets\covers in the Jukebox, one for Part 1 (CD1) and another for Part 2 (CD2)

Is it possible to group them and having the CD2 play immediatly after CD1 ends?

YAMJ did this I think.

Unfortunately OoD has gone very quiet in here which makes me fear he has given up developing this... I hope not!

Two things I would desperately love to see sorted :

1. Multi part movies do still not play consecutively in the jukebox. You need to exit the jukebox and go to the browser to play the second part unless of course you generated two images for the parts which does not make sense

1a Related to this is the fact that the length of the movie is not accurately shown as it only shows the length of the first part.

2. It would be great to have a facility to show the latest movies added. When you have 300 movies in your jukebox, the three new ones you just added are easily lost in the bunch and difficult for the family to find the "latest releases". Perhaps this could be added to the menu with "genres", "date" etc.

OoD I hope we have not lost you....

Yeah OoD has gone very quiet. Maybe he's not finding the time to finish the next version, which he said would have included multi part movie and TV shows categorizing.

To me only 3 things are missing for it to be even better:
1. Multipart movie automatic playback
2. Ability to change subtitles - it currently crashes the boxes
3. Resuming of movies

This way you can
1: enter the C:\TV folder and browse all series using the slow button
2: enter the C:\TV\Lost folder and browse all seasons using the slow button
3: enter the C:\TV\Lost\Lost Season 01 folder and browse all episodes using the slow button (and press enter or play to start watching the episode

I have this structure and it doesn't work! What are you using YAMJ or RSS jukebox on Tvixie?

Post Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
Hi all,

I have a Playon!Hd with fw V7.3.4 r3582
I wanted to create a link in the 'Internet Feeds' to my jukebox, as explained on page 14.

But when I want to copy menu.rss in folder "Movie_Jukebox" to /usr/local/bin/scripts/
I get the following error : Read-only file system

Can someone help me?

thx
