Why does that terrible color choise not make it to the bug report list? there are enough people that complain baout it in this topic. I know it's a minor bug, but never the less i thought that collecting " bugs" was de meaning of this topic.

Or does the SDK 4.0 have other default colors or even better custom skin support?

I too complained about the horrible color scheme before (since 3582), but I guess this can't be considered a bug. Just individual preferences.

Seems that their Dev team has some weird preferences. Hope they can change their outlook for the next FW :). Else I would be too embarassed to show my POHD to my friends :D

I believe a GUI refresh is in the works, but not for this beta.

I too hope it will be changed, the green and the blue aren't that appealing and the GUI is a bit of a mishmash. The GUI of the previous firmware was in some ways nicer, without the strange blue and green lines.

The moviejukebox in combination with Thumbgen and TViXie2playonHD is not function properly. If i play a movie via the browser and then open a movie via Moviejukebox. It will play the movie selected with the browser.

The selection of subtitles is not consequent, it happens when a subtitle is selected that i can't change the size. I've to select another language and then go back to the previous language to change the size.

The second thing what i noticed, is that the images named 0001.jpg (poster) folder.jpg (template)
Are working on my external harddisk, but not on the internal hdd of de POHD.

On the external HDD i see the template when pressing the slow key, or just browsing over the folders. On the internal HDD is see the poster when i browse over the folders or press the slow key. In both maps the files are named the same.

Ac ryan does not support modified juxeboxes.
We only support the orginal Yamj software + the Yamj config gui.

That' s a petty. :(
Than we will have to wait until AC ryan integrates a full featured method to show the Yamj jukebox. At the moment the Yamj layout looks terrible. Thumbgen and TViXie2Playonhd made it more mature..

Do you know if i'm the only one with problems with the folder.jpg and 0001.jpg on internal harddisk and external usb harddisk :?:

Thanks for your answer Kraakie

The internet time has never worked properly. Every time I turn on my POHD it seems to pick a random date in the future
Same here ... don't remember if it's always in the future, I think it also resets to May 2010.
But after switching on the POHD I now just open Putty and set the time in Linux.

I reported the problem/bug (and more people did) but I only got the advice to reflash r3582.
So they solved the bug by removing the Time settings completely

Clearly they don't consider the date/time important... :?

For the record (and for anyone else who wants to do it) you have to enclose the date/time string in quotes, like the following or else the year doesn't get changed:
Code:
date -s "10061453 2010"

and the format of the date string above is
MMDDhhmm CCYY

Hi, i updated yesterday to this FW and i'm very happy, the speed of the menu and browsing files is improved, it all works very smooth now. Also with the prior FW's i had very many crashes... that needed a hard reset (pull out the powercord). Since the new FW i haven't had any crash :)

I am using the player only for watching XVID's and MKV's from a mediaserver in my network. Works like a charm now!

THX!

How does this firmware relate to [BETA] PV73100 r4318 firmware **POHD**.

The revision of the above firmware is higher than this firmware?

I have this problem to. Of some directories the ryan shows the 0001.jpg, in other folders i dont get it working. I cant find the reason why this is happening. Is this a bug or has it to do with something i dont now?

i have the same problem with my NAS. It's unclear why, looks like something random but i think that it has to do with the first file yes/no in the folder, file name starting with a capital or figures. I can't figure out why but this problem was already in more firmwares. I used the same thumbgen settings made the files in 1 loop and still there is difference about the first file even when it starts with a ! or 0001.jpg

POHD and a NAS are not always friends unfortunately
