Thanks, I read about the procedure before but wasn't sure I should try it. But then I decided to go for it and thank god I got it revived.

But it took more than 20 seconds before the flash screen came up on the screen. I was just about to give up and let go off the power button.

Good it worked for you.

My personally have actually tried a dozen of different firmware from different brand, I was always able to revised it back. I am not sure what state of "Flash Screen" you referring to, but for me, as long as I see the BLUE screen come up (mostly within 5~7 seconds), I can let go the power button.

I've bought the POHD a few weeks ago and have to say it works perfectly. Except for the file copy function that is.

I'm currently using r3875 and encounter problems when using the POHD file copy function to copy files from my external NAS to the HDD in the POHD. After a short while, I get the message "copy failed (USB removed)", while no USB device has been connected.

Is this bug solved in r4090 (or an earlier version)?

Thanks!!

Sorry to say, but I've never had such a big problem as with 4090

It became frozzen after switching between few radio-stations. (power cable helped)
Than when I entered Jukebox and turned on the movie in it - Menu-button didn't show all these Audio, Subtitles stuff
Then after entering Feeds and quitting it the skin of frontpage became broken.
And in the end it just stopped after testing few movies (only power cable helped again)

I don't think i'm going to flash this.

My reason of posting is that it would be handy to post know bugs from previous release here and mark the ones that are fixed.

That way we don't need to test over and over again. Also developers/testers should already know what is working and what not because of that list, just test every item.

Several problems:

1) I can't add torrent via web interface: when I select torrent file and press Yes (on torrent upload screen), I see always see white screen. When adding torrent through player menu, everything is ok. On previous firmware (r3582) this problems didn't exist.

2) After few hours of downloading torrent BT service stops (when I select Torrents in main menu, it says "BT is not running"). I can restart BT service by stopping it (not really stopping) and starting again in Setup -> Network, or by restarting the player, but after few hours it stops again. This problem existed on previous firmware (r3582) also.

I mean that when I am downloading, my client stops with no reason. There are more users with the same problem. Is there no solution for this?

Same problem here !
(but it's not mentioned yet as a 'known error', is it?)

Besides the 'Webpage not found in a white screen and I got the error in detail:
Code:
Fout 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Onbekende fout

(it's in Dutch...)

Also it isn't possible to save the BT-settings through the webinterface, do you have the same problem ?

But how do you add een Torrent-file thru your Player menu?
Because I can't !
In the BT Menu, I can choose between 'Download' and 'Settings'.
With the option Download, I can't add any torrent. If the torrents are running I can see the list of the BT;s, but I can't change anything.
Do I miss an option in the Menu or do I something wrong ?

When adding a BT-torrent isn't (made) possible with this beta-release I have to go back to r3582 and that would be a pitty, because I like the r4090 release !

Because in my situation the Sound is working with a 'double connection' red/white cable ánd a optical Toslink cable between the POHD and my Bose LifeStyle system, on the AUX-input !!
It Switches 'automatically' between 'Stereo Sound' (thru the analogue cable) and 5.1 Sound (thru the optical cable), back and forth !!

So, for me the r4090 is an evolution comparring to the r3582 !
(besides the Torrent issue's...)

So keep up the good work !

(the expectations are very high right now for the official release...)
