Excellent work guys keeping up the firmware development, looking forwards to loading this weekend. I trust that work on shortcuts is coming soon after the audio fixes that you mention as priority - the unnecessary amount of menu navigation to get to your films is a problem for just about everyone, certainly those with non-technical wife/kids.

This firmware still does not play Blu Ray Disc files. Arghhh. Do I have to revert to the old firmware again? (And re-configure my Playon again, I am gettin tired of it).

It is getting really frustrating. I was happy with my playon once but now I regret I bought one.

When can I expect a working new firmware that is really an upgrade? And not an downgrade...

Please tell me if and when the new firmware will support BD (as the the previous firmware does)?

Was waiting for the beta and I was happy it was finally there, but I have a problem.

I am using a usb hub, this one under.

But it gives me a "unkown hardware error and that the firmware" can't work on screen when it is plugged in.

So a shame . By the way I installed the firmware with powercable out and holding the power button.





EDIT:

After installing it through the set up menu, it worked again. So do I need to update the next through the menu ?.

Hi, please help..!

I put the firmware on USB and went to system update..

Now it just constantly reboots with "Incompatible Bootloader! Please install the old firmware again."

the 4090 is of SDK 3 v7.3.6.r4090
4312 was of v7.0.21.r4312

you can only update from 7.0 to 7.0
and 7.3 to 7.3

however you can update from 7.0.21.r4312 to v7.3.6.r3582

So use the v7.3.6.r3582 first
and then update with v7.3.6.r4090

thats what the initial post stated with RED.

So just replace the Install with the one from v7.3.6.r3582 on your usb drive.
put the usb drive into you ac ryan mini.
restart/pull the power to it.
as it reboots it should find the new firmware...takes about 1minutte....so be patient.
