I like my Xtreamer Pro's latest firmware (love the Full HD interface), but also this isn't without bugs, but it's stable.

 Re: [Official]POHD PV73100 (SDK3.X) r3582
1. Did the development team at AC Ryan not expect any bugs at all, since they would send it for testing to the mods and aiming for monday/tuesday ?
2. Why are the users told by someone from the product/development departement that the FW is being tested internally, but is the actual reason for not making it on Monday or Tuesday being given by one of the moderators ? Where their job is to moderate the forum (and if they bring out any news, they will be ofcourse asked for new news... in which case we sometimes here, they are only moderators and not part of the development team. Vicious circle anyone?

Vicious circle anyone? Some mods are also internal testers m8 , and since we are customers like you we can give positive or negative feedback, Atm this firmware we test internal is simply not stable enough. It's released when it's stable enough not earlier not later. But i think i mentioned that about 1000 times now...................

But i think i mentioned that about 1000 times now................... Yes, you said this 1000 times but we cannot wait forever. Apparently the AC-Ryan development team is 1 single guy or so. I understand your frustration with being in the middle between customers and AC-Ryan. I also understand the PLAYON!HD revenue is probably decreasing right now and ACRyan's focus is moving elsewhere. But there is a massive customer base that like the product and definitely dislike the SW update policy. We just want a stable and friendly player - additional features like tumbs and feeds are all nice to have that nobody care of until the player feature will be solid. Please report our complain (once again I guess) to the ACRyan management. Thanks

I think you should try to release one that fixes the POHD freezes when browsing. I get that SH!T everyday!!!! Getting sick of it and thinking about selling the darn unit to get rid of it!!!!

 Re: [Official]POHD PV73100 (SDK3.X) r3582
In a way I do see and understand the frustrations of the users. Waiting patiently for a good and stable FW is good. But the case seem to be that even patiently waiting has no guarantee of a stable FW. It's been a while since the bugs were reported, and I get worried when it is mentioned that the development team are still scratching their heads trying to get it stable till now. Are they really experienced people, I have to ask. Sorry I have to be so direct, but AC Ryan team need to buck up. Peace
