Post Re: HELP! 76120 juz died
junwei,

The problem coming back again. It died again.
Power on with red circle, but when switched on, no blue circle.
Before it happen, the front panel keep showing loading screen when power on.
So I have to switch off the main power supply.
After that, when I power on the player, it died.

The only way to make the player works again is by doing the followings:
Switch on the player. Even without any blue circle. Don't do anything with it. Let it be for the whole day. The blue circle came out the next day and the player works like normal.

This is the second time the player died.
Please let me know weather this is the player problem or firmware(v8.3.2.r3582) or others.

Should I send it back and get a replacement.

Thanks

ive found a fix i think ? . just take off the outer case then put it back on, then turn power on . it works for me. i have done this twice now and fixed it twice . Is there a short i dont know . I think A.C.Ryan should look in to this . This may void warranty. (ten screws)

YOSEN i think you are write

I just wonder those whose playon that just red circle and cannot change to blue circle even the power button is pressed, is there anything heavy stay on top of the playon, or is your finger has accidently pressed the top cover of playon. I ve this experience before, and I ve feeling that a contact metal has touched the cover inside and caused short circuit.

I wonder AC Ryan has put any insulator between printed circuit board and the metal cover, since the cover cud be bend easily if pressed? :grinning:

Exactly the same for me
see my post here - viewtopic.php?f=130&t=8767
Nothing on top - not pushing down on the box.

Back to the service center and they can't fault it.

Now it's back from the service centre where they could not fault it - and guess what - won't even turn on for me.

I put the HDD back in which is the only difference.

Hi,

does anyone have a solution for this?
I have the same problem. I couldn't find out
what the reason is. I have the device now for one month and
there are no two days without problems :|
I tried several firmwares but no change.

Regards Hans.
