I plan since some time to add anidb.net but I noticed quite a lot of Anime are already covered by thetvdb.com. Is this true? Or better to add a "dedicated" anime collector?

There is no detailed explanation but if u want to do that I guess you'll have no problems studying an existing template that has those flags. Visit wdtvlive.net (section Moviesheets) and feel free to check any of the templates having those flags... dribbler, pintas, etc

i have a problem with thumbgen on network environment. i have the hd mini hooked up to a pc using windows xp sharing multiple hard disk drives through LAN using network cables.

i can see moviesheets inside the movie folders just fine. but i could not play the movie straight from the moviesheet by using the middle big round button on the remote. did i do anything wrong or the i am not to launch the movie by using the big round?

FYI, i am using thumbgen 1.1.6.1 to create the moviesheets. any help is very much appreciated. thanks.

when you highlighted the folder where the movie is in,
press the "slow" button on your remote,
the template should then be seen full screen,
if at this moment you press the ok button (the big round one) or the "play" button,
it should start the movie.

I'm new to Thumbgen, but I really like the sheets it produces !

One little problem/question ; I try to generate a sheet for the tv-series The Pacific, so I select theTVDB.com as info and cover selector, but the search says that it can't find The Pacific and only displays the info it finds on imdb.com and no cover ?!
But when I go to the thetvdb.com site, there's all kind of info and fanart covers for The Pacific ...

did you try using the Playonhd tv shows profile?
before processing the files and folders?

Yep.
It works for other series like Merlin (2008 BBC), but not for The Pacific (2010 HBO, Dreamworks) ... I'll have look at Merlin this evening, because now that I look better there's more on theTVDB.com than there is in my coversheet.

Btw: should all fan art that is shown on theTVDB.com be available in ThumbGen ??

Depends on your TG settings (Options/TVShows)

So far TG says it can't even find 'The Pacific' and only displays the info from imdb.com. I checked the series' IMDB number (tt0374463) and it's the same in TheTVDB.com

I'll try home "The Pacific" to see what's happening. Can u send me a log.txt (so I can see what config u are using)?
