urte wrote: I have upgraded from last beta today, did it twice as stated. Now I have some issues
1. its not possible to get menu when watching movie, so I can change sound/chapter and so on 2. On the beta I could use the blue arrow to fast forward on a movie, this function is gone...great loss It finaly solved the issue during dvd menu playback (icons are now displayed right), but the issues mentioned above are serieus problems. Many movies and muscic dvd/bluray don't have chapters in them, therefor it's a must to use the arrow's for fast forward and playback in those files. Back to Beta release for me, shame because i could finaly display my dvd menu's right, but i definatly wan't those arrows buttons back. Also the Menu key needs to be back on, saves a lot of fussing! Hoping for a fix soon!

Hi,
Good day to you.
1. We have reported to the development team about the wrong video and audio information.
2. Because the new firmware developed from a (new platform) , the screen size adjust option haven’t made inside yet.
The question 1 and 2 will be fixed with the next firmware which will be released within few weeks.
Warmest Regards,
Technical Support Team
AC Ryan Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.

I must say that this firmware is the first one which play's high bitrate AVCHD movies (not perfect, but a lot better). I'm now going to try it through an usb drive. Hope this will be perfect. So thumb's up.
(just to be a bit more positive than the others)
Keep on the good work. I understand it is a lot of work to implement the new SDK.

Thanks for this update.
Good: DVD menu now working. Good: Sound from HDMI and SPDIF. Bad: No mp3 sound from SPDIF when using passthrough. Bad: Less zoom options: no zoom to width and height.
I hope these last issues will be fixed in the next firmware. I will go back to the previous official firmware.
Keep up the good work!!!

Keep up the good work!!! Hi ronfiets, Why dont you try the latest (previous) beta firmware. That is much better then the previous official firmware and at least as stable.

I was having problems playing alternate audio tracks in MKV files - I tried the firmware update, to see whether it'd fix it, and it has. Hooray! Thanks. Is it the new SDK that's fixed this?

andrelubke wrote: I see a lot of unhappy people here. Which is logical in my opninion, because when you bring out a new firmware release people expect an improved version of the previous release. The r4312 release gave a kind of promise for the new official release. Instead AC-Ryan decided to bring out an official release with much LESS functionality and MORE bugs, not based on the previous release at all!
My suggestion: Bring out a new official firmware release based on the beta r4312 with bugs fixed. Keep the r3582 (based on the new Realtek SDK) in BETA untill you have the same (or improved) functionality as the r4312 release.
Allso I get the impression that the people who design/develop the new firmware are more technically oriented then user oriented. It would not hurt to get a GUI design specialist as well... +1 I agree also.

 Re: [Official]POHD MINI PV73200 (SDK3.X) r3582
Q1: I bought a Playon! HD mini (PV73200P+) a few days ago and installed the v7.3.6 r3582_European firmware. I've also started organizing my videos using thumbGen 1.1.3, but after browsing through a few movie sheets at full screen, horizontal artifacts starts to appear across some of the sheets and then after browsing a few more sheets, the screen goes black! This happens every time I browse through my movie sheets at full screen and I have to restart the box to use it again! What's up with that?
Q2: How do I create shortcuts to my movie folders at my NAS drive so that I don't have too browse though several folders each time? It would be nice to just turn on the box and go straight into a shortcut from the home menu (max to clicks).

 Re: [Official]POHD MINI PV73200 (SDK3.X) r3582
My opinion after updating the firmware:
- Menu for selecting Audio/Subtitle/Title/Chapter/DVD Menu is gone
- No red light when the mini is off
- Unable to fast forward/rewind with with < or > button
