I can't thank you enough OoD, your RSS jukebox has saved me the trouble of waiting for YAMJ to search my HDDs for the index files (I wonder why didn't ACR developer consider saving existing jukboxes paths + giving the option to add/edit instead of searching for the index files every single time YAMJ is started. !?!

Any way, I just have one question that I tried researching but wasn't lucky.
For the RSS jukebox, is it possible to re-render the channel background whenever a poster comes into focus (using browsing the PhotoFocusView category screens) ?

I am not sure if it can be scripted as I know the <backgroundDisplay> is defined once, but I am not sure if it can re-rendered afterwards.

It would be great if you can provide insights ..

I have couple of notes though:
- As you mentioned, you lose the poster wall (photoview) with the sheet template, is there any way around it ?
- Unlike the old PhotofocusView the movie poster doesn't slide into center view, and also doesn't get bigger when focused. The second point isn't as important but because the posters aren't center sliding, they always start from the left of the screen and if you have few (2~3) posters to display the poster bar doesn't look that good. Is there a way to make the focused poster centered and for focused poster to go bigger like your old PhotofocusView ?

Just noticed this topic since i'm to busy getting YAMJ to work the way i want it to work.

Got a few question before i'm going to play with this.

* will it show me movie wall directly instead of going true 3 pages to get a overview of my movies like in YAMJ?
* will it sort TV shows?
* do i need latest beta FW for this with YAMJ support in it?

I have just tested it, thanks again for the promptness, here is the bugs I have noticed:

BUG 1
- The category names on left bar, only "All" and "Library" are displayed correctly in English, for the the rest of the items I am getting gibberish ("Genre, Year, Rating").

Problem seems within the Categories.xml


BUG 2
- Sheets aren't displayed in the MovieSheetView (getting the default background), I use the same file for movie info and it is displayed correctly once you enter any poster (in any view). In the jukebox building program I have changed the "MovieSheet FileName" from "sheet.jpg" to match the name of my sheets.

The problem seems to be the new moviesheet file name isn't updated in the XML file .. Other_All_3.xml


BUG 3
- Movie titles aren't displayed in English .. Except for the "All Movie" category.
Seems to be related to parsing the XML files from the .tgmd/.nfo
Check the following movie entries from "other_all_2.xml"

Now from "Genres_0001_Animation.xml"

Now checking the info file for the movie:

Apparently, <originaltitle> is used though the jukebox builder is set to use <title> instead.

NOTE
- I can only get the three viewing modes under "All" category, for the rest of the categories, only "MovieFocusView" used.

I have read this thread with great interest and Kudos to OoD, thanks so much. Let me ask though, I already am running YAMJ and even Thumbgen. So, is the advantage of this method described in this thread, make it so my Playon mini will "remember" where my Jukebox is and I don't have to click a lot to access it? Also, in the screenshot of the RSS Movie Jukebox feed, does clicking this icon open my library?

If so, I would like to try this method of access to my library.
