Search for thumbgen on that first page and there is a "Thumbgen for AC Ryan?" link which has even more details and a download link - not sure where the homepage for thumbgen is.

Actually I seem to recall that on another of the AC Ryan threads the guy who wrote thumbgen asked if they wanted him to make some tweaks to it so it worked nice with the Playon - Have a search - you will find it.

I am having a problem when I try to copy any file of any size (> 300 mb) from
my PC to the USB connected to the mini via a wired network.

Anyone has a similar experience?. Any idea when this problem will be fixed?.

I am planning to buy the USB wifi dongle for the mini, I thought it would help
in transferring files from the PC to the USB but looks like it may not. I am now
worried and not sure if I will have problems even when I try to stream files
from the PC to the mini for playing purposes.

Can some one please clarify my questiions. Thank you.

greetings, i'm a long reader of this forum, mainly because i bought a Mini, and 'cause i love the possibility of upgrading a product.
only registered to share some thoughts about firmware updates and to get some answers.

i think updates' good but i guess many are forgetting at least one elementary bug (where's the dev team?), the innability to playback some .flv videos, wich are advertised as a feature of the product!

from my little testing some flv's work some dont, i've found h264 encoded ones work, and h263 encoded dont work (can someone confirm this?)

now, everyone's fuzzing about new features, but many are neglecting some "old" features that are supposed to work.
it seems to me the dev team is neglecting this, because the few times I've read about this no answer was given, THIS IS BAD and shouldn't be ignored. at least some one should say: "oh, we are going to see what is causing this" or "we are sorry but, we dont think you should have flv (no codec specified) reading hability as we advertised on the box".

i dont know what are the causes of this, but the initial firmware supported it flawlessly, i question, WHY DOESN'T THE RECENT FIRMWARES SUPPORT IT??
does the team removed it intentionally?
come on, someone got to know this! as a client i (and all concerned) have the right to question.

i am sorry for this long post, but this is starting to mess with my nerves...
