As it's the same chipset, it should work ?
Or is this an incorrect assumption ?
Have read the firmware issues that the Mede8er has. A lot of them also apply to the PlayOn and are SDK related.

It seems they haven't been online for some time now. At least 5 days and some even more. Maybe they have all abandoned (the sinking) ship?

Re: [BETA] PV73100 r4107 firmware **POHD** We are working on the missing link (API related for Internet Radio) since last announcement that I have made on 9 June on the Internet Radio service down related issue and other related.
Anyway, sorry for my absences lately on the forum after the last PC show that we had one week back and some other issues relating to the standard office routines...
Anyway, back to the topic...
The new firmware with resolved Internet Radio fix, and recording audio stream from Internet Radio will be out earliest by tomorrow. (Fingers crossed as the firmwares are uploading to our file server) <- Latest update from Eugene and the Dev team.
There will also be a new firmware that will be released most likely end of next week which contains bug fixes that we are targeting to release. Same as previously, I will drop it on the forum at the soonest availability once I get them from the Dev team.

Re: [BETA] PV73100 r4107 firmware **POHD** The forums are far from dead. There are so many topics opened I find it difficult to read many of them. It just shows that the POHD is selling very well . I have faith that eventually many problems will be fixed with future firmwares, once Realtek stabilises their SDK.
