I get the same error.

1. What's the "update extensions thingy in the system update menu" (only with YAMJ?)?

2. Will it work with r3615?

3. Is YAMJ necessary?

i can only answer your first question.

in the setup menu go to system
select system update

then select extension package upgrade

install metafeed gives: filesystem read only/
I cant edit the menu.rss file.
the other files in /tmp/usbmounts/sda1 no problem.
I already updated the system etc.
I was working with me two days ago.
Please help. ( I hope i followed the pannel rules.)

I have the following problem.

I've updated my Playonhd mini to beta firmware Firmware_PV73200_v7.0.21.r4107_European.

I have installed the metafeeds in /usr/local/etc

I see in my Playon that the internetfeeds are available but if I select a channel, the player shows a yello square with a green moving icon and the player keeps doing that till I press return on the remote control.

Does anyone know how to solve and get this worked? I hope someone can help and if possible please keep the language simple as I am not as handy with telnet and computer boxes.

Hi all,
I upgraded my POHD mini to beta 4107.
Now when I try to install Metafeeds again, I get error "Read-only file system" and nothing gets installed.

How can I get Metafeeds installed on beta 4107?

as you can see in my post above, you have to install it in /usr/local/etc - not in /tmp/usbmounts/sda1

but however, I have the problem that I can see metafeeds in the menu but I can't work with it. I hope you will try and get the same result as me, then we both know the firmware is wrong.

Can you please post if you have it working?

I found out how to install in /usr/local/etc, now Metafeeds is showing again
I can confirm that I have the same problem. Feeds that were working before without any problems, are now not working anymore. In fact, not a single one of the feeds I tried is working.

In the latest (beta) firmware Firmware Version: r4107

I had problems in playing metafeeds video streams. Therefore I installed the latest official firmware and the video streams of metafeeds work again like a charm.

Apperently the beta release has some problems with the meta feeds.
