Saving from Internet radio:
1) Select USB as destination in Setup 2) Start recording with Audio, stop with Stop 3) Files (*.aac) are in custom directory: /tmp/usbmounts/sdb/REC/ or wherever you have connected disk to USB port

We are discussing on the improvements and see what we could do... maybe display rows of thumbnail based on your collection.. so that's why it's named as folder.jpg as we might need to do some hard coding to detect out the folder jpgs and display out as thumbnail similar to YAMJ... Sadly, there is any filtering system on this movie folder playback function unlike YAMJ...
Thanks for your comment. I wish to maintain the filing system I have with multiple movies in one folder and therefore I do not have folder.jpg or 0001.jpg files. I would not want to be dictated to the filing system I have to use with this player. I would suggest that if I have selected a movie (ie avatar.mp4) then the movie name could be used to display a jpg (ie avatar.jpg) and also a TG template (ie avatar.mainsheet.jpg. The hard coding you have choosen to use ie folder.jpg and 0001.jpg limits us to one movie per folder. i think my suggestion is more flexable and consistant with Movie Collectors, TG and TViXie2PlayOn and will allow users to keep/decide on their filing system without being dictated to. Just my 2p worth.

Hello Junwei. Good to see the dev team is trying really hard to make the PlayonHD! one of the best media players in the world. The new gui looks good in the first couple screenies hopefully the dev team can proceed this good revamping also in the browser and the audio player i'll test it with the YAMJ. i'll post my findings this weekend. Greetings Wimzz

Seems you can also create playlists now with ThumbGen. The POHD will recognize the m3u lists now as movielists.

Re: [BETA] PV73100 r4107 firmware **POHD**
Okay…. New beta. Have to say, the main screen looks way better!
But, unfortunately.. That’s one of the only things that’s better in this version.
- All other (sub)menu’s are still like you’re working in DOS 5.0 - You still have to click too many items to reach your goal (browser HDD internal HDD (??? Is there another HDD then??) for example - After booting, you see that video output is back to NTSC again.. I really am using the European firmware and I never ever saw a European TV using NTSC. We’re using PAL here. - YAMJ is the same as in the last trial (nr. 6), using 60 questions and minutes of your time to boot. No-one will use more than 1 jukebox on one medium. So, just make it easy: select HDD (yes, the internal HDD) and go! Not having to click, index, confirm, index… etc… - Also, a YAMJ screen is not easy to use. Too many “unused” screen around the covers. On a 32” screen it’s just not funny selecting your movie. Give it an option so the user can select how many rows / columns of covers (s)he wants. Take an example by the X-treamer YAMJ. That’s much better! - Within YAMJ also a lot of movies just don’t play. “Unknown filetype” or something like that, but they’re just VIDEO_TS (and AUDIO_TS) folders, which play fine using the browser!
Then the YAMJ software. Ok, it’s easier to use now, but it indexes in a strange way… I now “have” movies, which I really don’t have. Wrong covers are being loaded. And it’s just not easy to change them.
O yeah, the browser function is better now, with the “slow” option. This is much, much better than using YAMJ, cause I just don’t see that coming to a good end…
I haven’t tested it more, but all in all, I see not that many differences with the older firmwares and I just start wondering what “development” means with AC Ryan...
I appreciate that AC Ryan distributes new firmware and says they’re giving it their best, but communication is just lacky… Never ever there’s a message like “new beta within two weeks” or “ok, we’ll work on that”…
But this is just my opinion… (can’t imagine I’m the only one thinking this way though)
