Remarks: the firmware for both Playon!HD and Playon!HD MINI is roughly the same, the key difference is PV73100 (Playon!HD) has recording stream for Internet Radio, as there are some errors that hinders the recording clips to be saved into USB external hard disk, that is why we removed it for the time being.

2. Movie Folder Playback using Browser Mode (To use with ThumbGen Rich content images)

Use ThumbGen App, you can generate Rich content images which can be used on YAMJ as well, so we have came up with a idea. It works on Browser Mode.

How it works:
Have the DVD cover art named as folder.jpg placed into the folder of your movie. The moviesheet must been named as 0001.jpg. On browser, navigate to the folder. You should see the preview window showing the folder.jpg. Press [SLOW] on RC (Remote control), it will display 0001.jpg. Press [ENTER] on RC (Remote control) to play the movie.

Showing Moviesheet after pressing [SLOW] on RC (Remote control). Make sure generated moviesheet from ThumbGen is named as 0001.jpg

Additional function, if you have multiple folders and have done generating the moviesheets, if you're on moviesheet preview, you may go to the next moviesheet by pressing [DOWN] or [UP] on RC (Remote control). You do not need to exit back to folder list in order to play the next show or see the next moviesheet.

At this moment, no support on TV series for the firmware, I'm still trying to figure a way to display TV series moviesheets Please note on that and give me some time on it.

3. Bug Fix on YAMJ and introduction of YAMJ Installer V1.0

Announcement
The last and final MP4 bug has been resolved, we are looking into porting it over the Official Firmware. TV series should work the way it should, either on playing the last episode or through play all episodes.

YAMJ Installer v1.0
An installation program that prompts users to install JAVA if it is not found, and direct short cut for updating existing Jukeboxes. On our end, we will re-release a simplified guide for YAMJ how-to on a later date.

The front screen is looking nice, looking forward to the rest of the GUI update now!! It's good to see the moviesheet feature is back, I was disappointed when the [Slow] button function was disabled in the official release as i'd just started using the moviesheets!! Will be downloading this as soon as I get home from work!!!

Great Gui and thanks for using the Thumbgen methode, (realy like that program)

but if you do not like to call your first Jpg file 0001.jpg or you have multiple
movies in the same folder/directory or you still want to use tvixie2playonhd,
then in the settings from thumbgen select the extrasheet.

for naming the extra sheet i am now using $M\!$N.jpg
which means it will create an extra sheet with the name of the movie and adding a ! at the start of the filename so it will be seen as the first jpg in the browser of the playonhd.

for example the movie avatar will be created a extra sheet with the filename:

!avatar.jpg

so then 0001.jpg will not be needed anymore.

for the mainsheet i use tg-bg as the filename for tvixie2playonhd.

Love the new GUI. I'm pleased that the update is still tasteful - just a nice progression from the last one.

Everything is working well. I'll try YAMJ or Thumbgen next although I already have cover artwork in each folder so that's not too urgent.

A couple of weeks ago I said that I had a problem with reduced screen size in r3875. The same happened with this release until I re-installed it in safe mode and that cured it. I probably should have done that in the first place - as with computers, a fresh install works wonders!

Why TVShows are not working?

If I understood correctly pohd can display always the 0001.jpg found in folder, right? Sure that will not allow having individual sheets for each episode but a "generic" one (maybe same as for season) may be used.

Am I wrong or TVShows are actually (a bit) supported?

PS: The GUI is very nice and I like the moviesheets

My meaning is that we actually hard coded it to work. So Movie Folder Playback only works well with movies at this point. If you're in Preview Mode after pressing Slow for the Parent Folder Jpg, there isn't any way to enter into the Season folders from there. So we are thinking of something else.

I'm looking into ways to getting the dev team to hard code the firmware for TV series support. Maybe allowing left arrow and right arrow to move around episodes ?
