Re: Official firmware for Playon!HD PV73100 r3875 **POHD!**
Most of my flac files won't play with this firmware...well I tried previous firmwares but same problem (no ID3tag). Will there be a solution in future firmware?

clemensvanos wrote: Any people happy with the latest firmware (3875) upgrade. I only read stories from unhappy people. Don't know why but I also do not have that many problems with this fw. Watched different movies last week (mkv, bluray iso, dvd iso and dvd TS) and no problems at all. The device is still connected to my philips 42pf7404 lcd tv and works great. Sure some things still need to be changed but it's mostly cosmetic (better looking gui, more items on screen). Keep it up PlayonHD team, I think you are all doing a great job. Maurice

One last thing can you also ask him to allow the bar to remain for at least 5-8 seconds before it disappears. It takes a while to see the current time displayed, and the bar keep on disappearing before I can even see the time.
Thank You, much appreciated. I'll feedback on this... Please report also following related thing: when you press Play, Pause, Info or something like this, icon that appears is NOT transparent; but if you press > key (seek bar appears), and after that press Play, Pause or Info, icon IS transparent, which looks definitely better. So, it seems that it's no big problem to make these icons transparent ALWAYS? It would make movie watching experience much more comfortable. P.S. I remember that somebody wrote it somewhere on forum already, but couldn't find it. If this thing is already reported to E., then I'm sorry for taking your time. P.P.S. In general, I like this last firmware release, and didn't experience any problems with it. So thank you for good job!

It's quite complicated to do it: 1) You must take original bitmaps and make background transparent (it took me almost 5 minutes) 2) Compress bitmaps again with *unknown* tool

I don't try anything else than Firmware_PV73100_v7.06.r2388 anymore! This works the best for me. All the newer releases have the HDMI-related bug that teases me alot; the picture goes negative on a regular basis, and this is very annoying when we watch a movie with some friends. Have had a lot of fun with the Hacked firmware of Titooo V2, so somethimes I change to this. PS. I use a Philips 26PFL5604h

Re: Official firmware for Playon!HD PV73100 r3875 **POHD!**
just updated the firmware of my Playon!HD ACR-PV73100 from the previous official release to the latest version (Firmware_PV73100_v7.06.r3875_European). It seemed as if it went fine but now my player is stuck at the boot screen. It does not react on the remote anymore and I can only power it off by disconnecting it from the power (taking the power cord out). What can I do to get it to work again? I used an empty USB stick with only the install.img in the root directory of the USB stick and updated it according to the instructions. I am not sure if this is the proper place for this but I am quiet desperate so please help!!
