I still find somewhere the old name... Put here the concrete example.. have u deleted .nfo/.tgmd? You store them near the movie or in another folder (I look where u define in AdvancedSettings to look... so not mandatory near the movie)...

can thumbgen also create images for adult movies?
also i can not make an image for the series "extra's" and "fringe"..

No, ThumbGen is a "decent" application and does not process adult movies

There's a glitch sometimes with thetvdb.com (their API search is weak, I hope will be improved soon) ... try to not select the movie from the list returned by imdb but press "Skip and use initial keywords".

did i miss something or dosn't ThumbGen creates a kind of index file like YAMJ?

I had a couple of days to experiment with my playon!hd and tvixie and thumbgen.
My experience with thumbgen is great, it works realy good as scraper and has a lot of good templates.
tvixie sucks with those things, the only pro it have, is that, with the program tvixie2playon!hd i can use the jukebox of the playon!hd.

So i experimented with thumbgen and tvixie2playon!hd and saw that i can use the template of thumbgen. I changed in the advanced settings "Mainsheet" to background.jpg

The only problem i have at the moment is:

1. tvixie2playon!hd use MovieInfo.tvixie (is almost the same as Movie.nfo) to create the rss files on the playon!hd but i can't use the nfo from Thumbgen.

I don't know who the maintainer of tvixie2playon!hd is, so i can't ask if it's possible to use the thumbgen nfo file.
So, is it possible for ThumbGen to create the same layout as MovieInfo.tvixie???

if thumbgen has created the 0001.jpg, the .tgmd and the nfo file. (the jpg is already enough,
but for future change of the template the other two`s are easier and faster).

you can go to "browser"
and select the folder where you stored your movies (for this to work each movie needs his own folder)
in this folder the pohd sees the first jpg and shows it in the preview window under the "all" tab.

but if you select the "video" tab (with the preview in setup on) it shows the jpg there in
the preview window as well.

if you then press the "slow" button on your remote,
it makes the 0001.jpg full screen.

normally if you then press the play button it was able to play the movie.
but in r3875 firmware something does not owrk right as there it does not,
or it shows the movie in that folder which you at the moment are in.

but in r3643 it does work (even under the "all" tab).

just try and have fun with it.
