I live in the UK and I bought the Playon!DVR TV ,The unit seems to be incapable of receiving all the UK digital channels including some of the main channels .i.e. ITV1, Ch4, CH5, as well a host of other channels. I have a number of digital receivers in my home that receive the full range of channels without any problems. I have tried connecting the ACR-PV75120 the main access point to my outside aerial to see if this would rectify the problem. However it did not.

The unit freezes every so often when trying to navigate to view a film and moving from one area to another .i.e from viewing a film to navigating to the digital tv, when changing channels and in the middle of watching a film while streaming from wifi

The digital tuner is not suited for the uk market and I would stick to the playon HD.

The Playon!DVR TV is not fit for purpose and still needs a lot of work on it to be useful.
It should have never have been released until it was properly tested and all the major faults ironed out.

It’s a shame that A.C.Rayan has chosen to soil it’s reputation by releasing this unit to early as it shows great promise
