Re: telnet login password It turns out the question has been posed again, and no one knows the answer.
We now have Eugene looking into it, but strange enough it seems to be a tricky problem.
I hope we'll get it soon, but wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it...

The password must be somewhere in there, since it's a linux based system. Surely it's encrypted, but if you generate a new password, encrypt it and replace the old password, A.C. Ryan just needs to release this new firmware and the problem is solved.

Re: telnet login password I can only tell you what they tell me, i'm not a linux nor telnet expert..
If you have recommendations, feel free to email them.. (or PM).
I doubt they program through telnet, so maybe the PW is preinstalled??
Anyway, like i said... i dunno.

But the statement to hack the telnet password sounds kind of strange to me.
Anyway i've contacted the Support because of this and some other problems and i'm looking forward to find an solution.

Re: telnet login password The statement about hacking was all mine. You have to understand the POHD was not produced to be used with TELNET, therefore i understand it is not a priority to support. It is however a nice extra so it turns out, and that's why I'm fine with anyone finding and releasing the PW. ACR is totally open about everything, also why we have a big "other developments" forum right here on the site. And no worries, no sorries necessary.
