Nobody answers ad AC Ryan ...

Here in Denmark we only use DVB-T DVB-C DVB-S
No Analouge, it is finish !!!

There is truth in all this. At this time all that happened, never got answers from AC Ryan and I go almost 2 years since I bought several brands, DVICO, IAMM, Asus, Egreat, etc.. Some have already sold them, still others have them, but AC Ryan never had any because the brand here in Portugal there, and here I do not get concrete answers. I miss the article but AC Ryan loses much more because it does not sell, sell or do not know.

I have emailed ac ryan asking if the Playon!DVRHD will support DVB - T2 in the UK. This is a new(ish) standard for HD transmissions here.

I am still waiting for an answer. There are other companies here about to launch Dual Tuner DVB-T2 recorders. With the other facilities Playon!DVRHD seems the best for me if it will do the job.

So ACR if you want a sale reply to my email or drop an answer here if easier for you.

I'm from Denmark. I think more than half of the households get tv from cable(offering free non HD DVB-C and analogue signals), so the best solution for Denmark would be a model with DVB-C tuner. If you had a model with an analogue and a DVB-C MPEG4 tuner, I'll order it right away.

But to answer your questions, a model with analogue and DVB-T tuner, would fit the market best in Denmark

That's not true. I'm from Denmark and I'm only watching analogue signal, as my TV don't have a DVB-C tuner.

I think you have got something wrong. DVB-T has never been analog it's pure digital. But all the cableproviders broadcast analog signals as well as many broadcasts DVB-C along with the analog signal. I think there is one small cableprovider with max a few 100's customer, who broadcasts DVB-T signals. The largest cableprovider on the market Yousee has a total 1.2 million households as customers. As there are 2.6 million households in Denmark that's a market share of 46.2 % for that single company. The second largest cable provider has 0.6 million households as customers that's a market share of 23.1 %. Besides these two operators, there are satelite customers and customers at smaller cable providers, thats leaves signifacant less then 30 % households using DVB-T in Denmark.

The conclusion is that at least 70 % of all households in Denmark are using either DVB-C or analog signals, less than 30 % of all households in Denmark are using either DVB-T or DVB-S.

I'm lucky enough to have very good DVB-T reception so I want dual digital tuners please.

I hope that dual digital tuners means I can record two channels at the same time.

The perfect combination for me would be dual DVB-C tuners.
I would buy this immediately.
I'm from Denmark.

But it seems quite obvious that the perfect solution is very much an individual case.
Even for the same countries there are several different ideal combinations.

Make a box with the possibility of selecting one or two tuners of your choice,
and you would have a killer.

Can´t wait for the DVB-C version 
