Tsuhna,

Just to check if you're using any propriety software bundled with the hard disk such as encryption, etc ?

in my case the usb-device is recognised by the POHD only not shared at start.

the problem is startup of Samba, it only shares the USB-device in the network after restarting Samba
i think they should delay the starting up of Samba, so it comes in after the USB-plugin

maybe they could add a refresh/update button to make it simpeler to restart/refresh Samba?
(acces from neighborweb please, you need the share from the other PC's in the network)

Please fix the issue with sharing USB-device/Samba needing to restart.

overall i like the new FW, fast and pretty stable (even BT till sofar)

@junwei:

do you know allready if it will be possible to play foto's from subfolders? (handy in case of diashow)
internetradio during diashow would also be a nice future.....

Thanks Don for the workaround.

Appreciate if dev team can look into this concern..

No, i am not using any software bundled with Buffalo.
Still, there is software on Buffalo that can't be deleted.

Anyway, POHD works with software version r2388.

Can you try to set the audio to hdmi instead of spdif and see if the problem still excists ?

I read somewhere the spdif was causing the problem

Want to be sure if thats the case ?

If this works please report it here so we can report it to the dev team.

I have this problem also, i need to reboot with audio on any hdmi option, otherwise the screen became unstable until i select an audio option.

And when you press the "slow" button on your remote it will zoom it to full screen and when you press it again it will zoom it out. Really cool stuff Image

Hey thanks for that. I've been going the long way round - browse folder, select, zoom, return, play etc. You've probably added days to my life and, at my age, every extra day counts!

Another great tip. Thanks.

Also, if you then press the "info" key a couple of times the little green triangle/speed
indicator also disappears.

I love "hot keys".
