 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
The PhotoView is one part of what TVixie2PlayOnHD does and has nothing to do with Tvixie at all. That is created using one of the .rss files in the Jukebox folder it creates. I am not sure if it would be a good idea to try to build a 3 by grid at this point in time given the current resolution of the PlayOn!HD GUI (around 1200 x 675 and in 16 bit color). I am sure the author is playing around with it to see what the capabilities of both the visual GUI can do and what the 1073DD can smoothly accommodate for browsing.

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
Build 1.4.10 Changes To the T2P Program I noticed some additional features in the Tvixie2PlayOn!HD program and I thought I would clarify for those that might find them strange. Here is the new GUI for the Build Jukebox Tab: Attachment:
Update.JPG [ 98.14 KiB | Viewed 2542 times ]
As you can see there is now a Poster Quality Slider and a new input box labeled Big Poster FileName. The purpose of these two items is to quickly adjust the size of the jpg used for the PhotoView and PhotoFocusView Menus as displayed on the screen by the PlayOn!HD. The Big Poster FileName is the source file to be used. I already have files of cover art for all my movies in their individual folder's and they are named folder.jpg as you can see above. If you were to use Tvixie to fetch these for you they would be named front_cover.tvixie and you would put that in the Big Poster FileName text box. The Small Poster Filename is the actual jpg file that will be displayed in the Jukebox menus. I think you could name this anything you want - it won't matter. The T2P program makes this file from the Big Poster FileName jpg. And the Poster Quality slider controls the size of this file. The default setting in the middle will generate jpgs 250 pixels wide by the same aspect tall based on the Big Poster FileName's dimensions. I moved it up a couple of ticks to see if there was any improvement and you can see my cover.jpgs are generated at 310 pixels wide. No more do you need to manually create a reduced sized cover.jpg or use Tvixie's generated one (whose quality can vary greatly). The T2P program auto generates it for you. Thank you very much for that Mr. Developer. I do not even know who the author of the program really is but I appreciate his work on this.

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
Guy's.
With your help previously I managed to get Tvixie running on my PlayonHD. This has been a lot better and enjoyable when running movies etc. However today I ran into a problem. Don't know if any of you have had it. So far I have about 85 movies in the 'Movies' folder. Today when booting up the unit connected to the T.V I found that about 5 movies which I recently added were not playable via the TVixie/YAMJ route. When trying to play them I get the message "Unable to service request - Confirm". However if I try to play the movies via the media player option they work fine. Has anyone had this?
Also I found another problem via the Tvixie route. Over the weekend I had about 80 movies loaded and all the covers were displayed fine. However this morning I added another 5 files and when using the YAMJ/Tvixie route some of the film cover arts are missing when previously I could see these. Only the titles are visible?
I'm still using the last firmware release ( prior to the latest ). Will try and update later to see if this help's.
Any input would be appreciated.
Cheers.

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
Hello all, I did start working with twixi and some problems acur, I load all films with TViXiE2Playon!HD after put all fronts, text, funart with twixi. But after running the program it skips a lot of files and ther are only 19 left. When i tray to play with POHD it gives a strang background, something with red and there are no covers only empty boxes. What is wrong? regards oparinus

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
Your answers will be solved by carefully reading the previous posts in the thread.
For Londo, once you have the PlayOn!HD build the jukebox you will have to rebuild it using the T2P program (and deleting the Jukebox file on the PlayON!HD is likely necessary). Once the folder and cover art plus the detailed background are stored in each individual movie folder on the PLayOn!HD (or wherever your movie folder is) it will always be there unless you erase it. The Jukebox folder created by T2P is simply pointing to your those files. You can not have both a YAMJ Jukebox and a T2P Jukebox at same time - at least not on same folder root. Always hit no when it asks to update of course.
For Oparinus, you have a path issue, you do not have the correct folder format, or you are not eliminating the secondary files from add movies tab in the T2P program. You have 537 individual movies each in their own folders? You should since Tvixie will not work if they are not in their own folders. I assume they are DVD isos? My first thought though is that you have an incorrect network path for you movie folder. I would redo the path using a mapped drvie letter to your internal hard drive on the PlayOn!HD. The images you see are the overall background used by the T2P program (you can see this is the screen shots I put up) and the folder boxes are the default ones when there is no available cover art. So I think you have a simple path issue.

 Re: How to use TViXiE2Playon!HD
I cannot get TViXiE-1.3.1-setup.zip (2.89MB) (recommended) to install. It gets most of the way thru the install and then throws an error saying there's a problem with the installer. Any ideas? I can use Ember Media Manager but not TVIXIE......

Too bad the Tvixie program does not include a mediainfo CLI capability. I do have other metadata from MediaMaster but usually videos only have correct video width since height is encoded with out black bars when possible. I will test it out if I can even poll from other metadata files in the same directory and then perhaps do a sum or logic code - i.e if < video width > = 1280 then video = 720p. You should try TViXiE Assistant: http://www.tvixie.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=816It scans the movies with MediaInfo and saves the resolution etc. to the MovieInfo.tvixie file. For whatever reason I don't get the MediaInfo included, where to find the correct procedure to install the "feature"
