The Cyan screen problem occured again.
My TV-set sudddenly was set to 'Wide' the screen went to cyan and after 15 to 30 seconds the screen aspects changed again and the screen got back to its normal colours.

Can you try to set the audio to hdmi instead of spdif and see if the problem still excists ?

I read somewhere the spdif was causing the problem

Want to be sure if thats the case ?

If this works please report it here so we can report it to the dev team.

I have the same pink/green screen problem since the v7.06.r2956 firmware.
Every works fine in v7.06.r2898.
So I installed this beta and the problem is here again BUT I try your HDMI idea and it works fine!

What I can say is that:
- when you boot with the POHD set in any HDMI sound option, the pink/green problem never happen, no green line on the top right of the screen, very good.
- when it works fine, you can change to SPDIF sound option to enjoy great sound, and it still works fine!! I watched 2 films without problem
- If you stay in SPDIF option and that you rebout, you will have a green line and the screen problem in a few moment.... but you can press setup/change to HDMI and the green line desapear and you can press SETUP/change to SPDIF and there is no green line ;-) No problem.

So that the way I use the new beta firmware, enjoy great stuff as the left/right jumptime (good) and I pray for a problem solve in a next beta ;-)

Does this screen problem can come from the use of the latest SDK version 3? I think so!

Firmware seems mostly ok for me, 2 problems :
- still the extension packages are not installed after formatting the HD, need to run manual update
- response to the remote control seems more sluggish / slow compared to 2901

My personal opinion, This beta r3615 work perfect compare to r2901. Volume control working on all the *.mkv files.

Browsing on the files is faster compare to r2901. :D

One issue i encountered is the [Blue Left /Right] key will display a timeline for that movie on the bottom of the screen won't go off until you press enter. Is there any key to hide it?

Good job dev team!!

Another thing: it didn't power off (standby mode) the first few times but after adjusting my Harmony One (it seems it takes a bit more time for the POHD to power off) it works as it should. And: after pushing the button on the POHD a while longer it shuts down completely, no lights are shown ((I read somewhere (Don?) in YAMJ beta section this wasn't the case for that FW release))
Thanks Woody for pointing this out. I got it wrong, my bad :)

Temporary workaround i'm using is press Menu, then Return.

This firmware does not support my external USB HDD, 1 TB Buffalo HD-CX1.0TU2:
http://www.buffalo-technology.com/produ ... ncryption/

Buffalo is formatted to NTFS. When i connect Buffalo, POHD freezes when i get "USB dvd plug-in" and i need to shutdown (plug off!) POHD to get it working again.

Latest working firmware with my Buffalo is version r2388.

Great!

Srt-subtitles seems to be better now!
