Realtek is the one here that have to deliver such a option/module.
This is not somehting the devteam can code because of certain licence and appointments between Ac Ryan and Realtek.
The dev team will put this on the request list when they have contact with realtek to see what's possible. Asus O!Play already have that feature, which menas that they made it for themselves or realtek made it for them. There are more companies that are implementing this feature, so I don't think that this feature can't be done due to license and agreements issues... By the way I just would be happy if I receive a simpyl answer like: "We won't add it that feature because ittakes a lot of time", "We don't think is usefulso we won't add it" or "We will add this feature in X time" Well it's the only info i have from the team. Im not in de dev team so i dont know wich kind of agreements they have with realtek. Okay, it seems everyone is getting a little impatient.... me included  I just think the greatest miss of the PlayOnHD is the internetTV feature. At the moment, I'm not using the internet connection at all... just because (as a Dutchy) I can't use uitzendinggemist.nl or www.nederland.tv! Can't they at least give us some more precise clarification on WHY this is not yet implemented/coded? What else was their purpose for putting in a LAN connector on the PlayonHD. From a customer point of view, this is not really giving us the feeling of "customer is always right". Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it their job to make the Playon HD as awesome as possible?! Okay, I'm sorry for being so harsh. I know they are doing their best and I really think the Playon HD is a great little machine. But I'm afraid that if they don't seriously consider putting in this important feature... sooner or later they will lose a lot of customers due to competition. There, I'm glad that's all out in the open haha  I hope the guys responsible for the lack of this feature will read this, because I surely think it is worth taking a look at. This small feature will attract a massive amount of new customers I think... I mean, who wouldn't want to be able to skip the harddisk recorder and just start a broadcast whenever they'd like....... FOR FREE!! And now....... we wait

What development has there been from this request, in the nine months since it was first posted?
I am looking at buying a Media Player but the one that I do end up with, must play .asx, as that I believe, is what is needed to listen to a particular Internet Radio station in my country, New Zealand. The station does not broadcast to my area on FM but I can listen to it on my notebook, with Windows 7.
What does "Uitzending gemist", mean in English?
